Gerrale Gates not listed as a starter. Mike Rabinovich's pronunciation now stated on roster

I don't read much into that.
We learned last year that the "probable starters" were basically whoever started the last game and not inside injury information. If Gates is available, he would likely not make the list of probable starters

Our SID and media relations team also struggles with spelling and grammar, so I wouldn't put too much stock into the listed starting five, either.

I love Gates and he's an important part of the team, but the team has (understandably) relied on him too much, even as he is routinely double and triple teamed. I'm hoping the last game in which we played without him will be a positive as it forced the team to look to others to score. In our worst games this year the offense has really stagnated.

So, does this game have any meaning tonight regarding the PLT? Does anyone know how this works or if we still have a chance at qualifying? HC SID? PL?

So, does this game have any meaning tonight regarding the PLT? Does anyone know how this works or if we still have a chance at qualifying? HC SID? PL? Yes. HC is not mathematically eliminated yet. Things are a little weird with different numbers of games played, but no need to worry about ties. If HC wins 2 of their next 3 games, HC goes to the play-offs if Lafayette sweeps Lehigh this weekend OR if B.U. loses 2 of its 3 remaining games. We said in late January that getting swept by Lehigh could come back to haunt the Cross. That is looking very likely

Tom, I thought I read only games within the division count toward the playoff seeding...Maybe I am wrong? Who knows with this crazy season and schedule...
I stand corrected..Here is the PL site and all the rules and records.....https://patriotleague.org/standings.aspx?standings=2117

As I understand it, only the first 4 games against each Division opponent count toward getting into the tournament, but all PL games count in seeding the teams that qualify.

As I understand it, only the first 4 games against each Division opponent count toward getting into the tournament, but all PL games count in seeding the teams that qualify. That is what I thought, but here is the 7-8 teams getting in • The seventh and eighth seeds are determined by the following procedure: 1. Best two overall League record winning percentage 2. Head-to-head record, if applicable 3. Record versus other qualified tournament teams (either overall record versus common opponents, and then if needed, follow seeding from one through six) 4. Best overall League record winning percentage # 5. Coin toss or draw [shown on Zoom] NOTE: # indicates when comparing records against a single or group of tied teams (before ties are broken), the higher winning percentage will prevail even if the number of games played are not equal among the tied teams (e.g., 2-0 is better than 1-0; 4-2 is better than 2-1; 1-2 is better than 2-4 and 0-1 is better than 0-2).

First 4 games against divisional opponents are the only games that count in determining the top two spots in that division.. Rules are completely different for the last two spots as noted above.
Holy Cross was eliminated from that second spot when they lost to Army on Saturday

How would a win here assist the playoff chances?

How would a win here assist the playoff chances? I have no idea. The PL who every single year lets every team in the tournament. Decided to cut teams this year. I would not care if they made this the policy ever year. You want your best team representing the conference. I remember Carmody saying that Bucknell deserved to go when we upset them with Rob Champion's shot. Just be consistent. But why change it in this crazy year! ?

Half-court defense very good early for HC. Going hard at the hoop offensively.
Crusaders, 14-8, 12 1/2 left

Martindale attacking the basket - that's a huge part of his game, just seeing it emerge recently
