Don't understand TG's clock management. It's not like spring games are 120 minutes to work the rust off. He doesn't get that last offensive play of the quarter back. I was always frustrated by his clock and late-game management.

Both Colgate's and Lafayette's offenses look better than HC's. Both teams' quarterbacks look better than HC's. Plays are executed well, Passes are on target, nicely thrown.
Colgate lost a starting guard early on, taken off on the cart. Lost another starter with an apparent knee injury.

Playing devil's advocate...was it very windy at Goodman today? I think Degenhardt is seviceable but I have my doubts....

Colgate has two timeouts with 33 seconds left in the half. Instead of launching a long bomb like HC did today they threw one short pass completion over the middle and ran out the clock without using either timeout. A long completion or PI penalty could have given them a shot to score with limited downside. Why so cautious? You only get four games. Play them to win.

A bit breezy at Goodman, but should not have affected passing. Weather at Lafayette is pretty much the same, and has not affected the passing.
Stats of note: Degenhardt 14 of 24 for 91 yards, 2 TDs, 1 INT, longest was 14 yards. Sean Morris, TE, was second leading receiver, with 4 catches for 21 yards Abrams, leading rusher, with 62 yards on 8 attempts. Peter Oliver, 18 yards on 8 attempts. HC had 60 offensive plays for 209 yards.
Attendance was 482.

Defense: A- Mostly great but a better team might make us pay for our inability to cover guys downfield without grabbing them. Tackling, run defense and pressure on the QB all awesome.
Offense: D- Really ugly. Just have to hope the offense is behind the defense because of how early in the season it is and how screwed up this year has been. And the OC apparently was back in Worcester. Need to find a way to get the ball in the hands of our playmakers and let them eat. Thought Abrams was a bright spot.
Special teams: A- Love Ng. Nice fumble recovery. Coverage was pretty good. Would be nice to get more length on our kickoffs but didn’t hurt us.

I think the defense will even get better.
Offense needs to get the ball NORTH and SOUTH. To much East and West.
Don't be afraid to pound the rock! Get ahead of the chains.
Qb needs to be way better or I would make a change.

D- might be a little too harsh....made some plays when we needed to...nice to see the TE more involved....QB very shaky though, run game in general was sub-par...is the frosh RB who scored at Yale in 2019 hurt?

We must have a QB THAT IS CLOSE to Brenneman
Why that person sits is a coaches decision I guess

Announcers at the Lafayette-Colgate game are NOT at the stadium. Calling the game from remote site.
Lafayette gets another TD, 21-10, with 6:44 to go.
