That was a bad play by Suggs leaving Juzang but it was not in OT, Jaquez made the corner 3 to cut the lead in OT from 5 to 2. Maybe it wasn't Suggs in OT, but I'm sure the guy guarding Jaquez did an equally crappy job.

I’m pretty sure the championship game won’t be as exciting as tonight’s epic tilt, but I do know it’s going to be HCNATION(Gonzaga) vs. CMo(Baylor) for the Crossports Bracket Challenge crown. Good luck, guys! we’ve agreed to split the pot I am not giving you 4.5 points

I don't the 3 second rule can be "waived", but the official can "not see that".. A good ref with a feel for the game knows when to let the game play on...

A game for the ages. Biblical proportions! Goliath wins!! With 11 natties, UCLA is rarely called David Don’t know what natties means, but I was referring to Gonzaga as Goliath, the heavy favorite in that biblical battle, and UCLA as David, the consensus underdog. Obviously, the game had a different outcome than waaaaaaaaaay back when.

No, but I believe that it was ignored since the refs believed Suggs was hurt

Surprising and disappointing end to the college season. Last thing I expected was a blowout but when you get doubled up from 3 point land and don't rebound there's no chance to win. It seemed like Baylor was playing one step ahead all night. Was there a hangover from the previous game who knows but don't want to take anything away from Baylor who was dominant at the Final Four.

Houston should feel a bit better after last night.
As an early riser, I wasn't sure about watching the game. I started to, but from the get go it looked like Gonzaga would not get many transition opportunities (as they couldn't get the ball off the glass). I guessed it wouldn't be a classic and went to bed. Great weekend for the Bears.

Last night's game reminded me of the 2005 PL final. It felt like Gonzaga's winning streak was weighing on them; they came out tight and (to use Ralph Willard's words), Baylor punched them in the mouth early, just as Bucknell did to HC in 2005. HC managed to claw their way back in < mutters about ridiculous charge call on KHam>, but Gonzaga never really got off the mat after taking that early shot.

After reviewing the NCAA announcement, and then reviewing Bo Kimble’s Wiki page, there may have been different people that go by the nickname of Bo, with the last name of Kimble. I wonder if anyone else remember the referees being mentioned?

I think that the name “Bo” was not mentioned. the NCAA link above says his name is Keith Kimble.

Gonzaga joins Indiana St as a team to almost duplicate the 1976 Hoosiers 1991 UNLV and 2015 (or 16) Kentucky say "hello". And both of those teams lost in pretty huge upsets (to Duke and Wisconsin, respectively). But, you are right that they didn't get to the final, lost in the semis.

Baylor came out like Mike Tyson - face guarding on D, amazingly crisp pick and rolls on O, had the 31-0 Zags hanging on for dear life. That’s one heck of a team.

Yeah Wichita State had an undefeated regular season in 2013-14 but a quick 2nd round exit in the NCAA tournament.
