^ No. What can be concluded is that 'gate is good, and the rest of the conference is not.

I have heard it will be based on the school with the most active message board. That would definitely be the fairest way to do it. Interesting that there doesn’t seem to be an answer to this question on the PL site or elsewhere. Guess they don’t want to jinx it by talking about it. You'd think they'd want to at least name the alternate so that team could keep practicing...or maybe they either don't want to get anyone's hopes up or spark needless outrage over their choice of alternate.

Of course now all of the experts start telling us how much they know about all the mid/low majors. For instance, I never realized Colgate ran the Princeton offense - until someone mentioned it on one of the selection shows last night. Can't wait to hear all the words of wisdom that will be flowing this week! Remember 1993 and that insufferable gas bag Billy Packer.

Yes - will never forget that a$$hat going out of his way to denigrate Ted Bettencourt when he got some garbage minutes at the end of the game. All because he was ignorant about what the Gatorade Player of the Year in Mass. was all about. Would have loved to have been a fly on the wall the time he was stopped by a student ticket taker trying to get into a Duke women's game. She had no idea who the bald arrogant creep was.

Maybe it’ll be like excess vaccine doses and whichever team can get to Indiana first will play Arkansas.

Navy vs Loyola. How many Divisions does the Pope have?

Hard to believe that UCLA, Michigan State and Wichita State are in the “ First Four” games. How the mighty have fallen!
Around my house, we still call it the PIG.

That seems like it's from another dimension. Reading through Coach Eaton's tweets he mentions that Merrimack lost seven games vs NE-10 opponents then the next year only lost four games against D-1 NEC opponents. NE-10 has always been a strong conference.

Navy vs Loyola. How many Divisions does the Pope have? Easier for Loyola to get to Indianapolis by land than for Navy to get there by sea. Run greyhounds run.

equally strong argument could be made for Navy, How can it be equally strong if you take the team that made it to the finals? If you said the since tournament champion couldn't go, the regular season champion should go. That logic sounds as good as the tournament runner up. The league would probably want to send their strongest team and by any fair standard that wasn't Loyola. With no guidelines for this unprecedented option, the league can send whomever they want. Taking the tournament runner up is a very reasonable choice. But I really believe that choosing the regular season champion would be equally valid and better for the league

the big question is how would gate do if pitino was coaching?
seriously, i think colgate has a puncher's chance if they get hot from 3 land. unlikely, but much stranger things have happened.

There is an argument for Army, although I would prefer Navy or Loyola. I also don't think I'd jump on the only team besides Colgate with an active win streak
