Why do we care about this, you ask? Austin’s “little” brother Bryce is a starter for West Liberty. They blew out a higher seed tonight. I guess all teams who make the Elite Eight get re-seeded so we’ll see where they wind up.

I’m not certain but I think the only re-seeding is for the Elite Eight. I generally agree that re-seeding is bad. WLU was the three seed in their 8 team bracket and beat 2 and 1 back-back-to-back to advance to the Elite Eight. |

WLU is seeded 7th and will play #2 Northwest Missouri State tomorrow for a trip to the Final Four.

While we're on the subject, Connor Niego's team lost by a bucket in the first round. Connor had a line of 6 points and 0 rebounds in 25 minutes.

WLU is seeded 7th and will play #2 Northwest Missouri State tomorrow for a trip to the Final Four. West Liberty is hot. They've won 14 of their last 15, and have a high-powered offense that leads all of D2 in scoring (102 ppg).
NW Missouri State is hotter (18 of last 19) and ranked 4th nationally.

This is the team WLU lost to. Pretty ridiculous offensive possession for them. I can see why they’re playing for the D2 National Championship.
