A sad story. He is in our prayers.

Unfortunately, similar to Jim Schnurr. (RIP)

actually not as severe - the story speaks of 'paraplegia' which would mean effects from the waist down - still, of course a terrible story but hopefully he will remain optimistic and regain some movement.

I'd like to spend a decent amount of time driving in a country (or portion of this country) where cyclists and motorists know how to share the road legally and safely.
Can't say that I've had that experience yet; and I'm saying that as someone who used to cycle a lot.

Nothing to do with the Shawn Bradley tragedy but my town and the surrounding area have miles and miles of beautiful running and biking trails. Yet, there are still always runners and bikers on some of the narrowest and most windy roads around. I really don’t understand taking that extra risk if you don’t have to.

As well as people who decide to walk on the road, when there is a sidewalk immediately adjacent to the road way. Never understood the rationale and the need to walk on the road especially at dawn and during twilight.
