From what I understand with the campus lockdown in place the team and individuals would be barred from practicing- how can we jump on a bus Tuesday night or Wednesday morning and play that night ?

The school is supposedly re-opening on Wednesday or Wednesday is the last day it's closed?
The former might make this game possible, the latter I think not.

we're down 1-0 in the semis tonight at Lafayette - it's not that close because we have a total of zero shots through the first 45 minutes - the 'Pards have 10 (4 on goal)

Totally outmatched thus far. Anytime you’re only down 1, you can always get a lucky break that results in a goal but HC has one shot and it was way over the goal.

2-1 final. The lucky break (actually breaks, foul 20 yards out leading to another foul in the box) offset by a terrible defensive play resulting in LC's second goal.
Of course, no workouts in several days couldn't have helped.

Lafayette’s pretty good. Much better than us right now but we made a game of it.

Nice job by AU last night in NCAA tourney beating Jacksonville 5-4 in PK's (after 3-3 tie) - game played at Wake Forest - next up, no.1 national seed Clemson

I didn't want to start a new thread, but doesn't anyone know why the men's and women's soccer schedules are not yet posted on the web site? Aren't their first games traditionally just five or six weeks away?

There are not too many soccer programs out there that have published their fall 2021 schedules yet, with COVID concerns and such, I would imagine that most colleges will not "officially" post a schedule until closer to the start of the season.

Bucknell and Navy's men's schedules are up and we are on it. Not the women, however.
Lafayette is the opposite of those two: women, no men.
Nothing either gender for Boston U.
Didn't look at the others.

American and Colgate also have posted men's soccer schedules. Also the PL schedule has been available for a long time: s3.amazonaws.com/sidearm.sites/patriotleague.org/documents/2021/6/11/2021_2022_Men_s_Soccer.pdfBucknell OOC schedule is: - FDU (Home) - Penn State (Away) - Villanova (Away) - North Carolina (Away) - Wake Forest (Away) - St. Peter's (Away) - Mt. St. Mary's (Away) - St. Bona (Home) - St. Francis (Away) - Binghamton (Away) - Syracuse (Home) That includes three of last season's national top 15 teams, which is probably too many. One other item of note is that the PL tournament format has changed. Now all games are at the higher seeded team. No more "final four", with all semis and finals on the home field of the regular season champ.

This is the way it should be...noone wants to watch a neutral site championship game without the home team involved.

It's interesting that HC's soccer team has five international players: England, UAE, Singapore, New Zealand, Germany. Four are freshmen. I'm not sure what this means, but hopefully it will help make the team more competitive.

Besides football, are other fall sports schedules posted ? The HC combined calendar for all sports only shows football games, so I don't think any other schedules have been released.

I'm not sure what this means, but hopefully it will help make the team more competitive. UNH in the spring had 12 internationals. Providence has 9 for this fall. Seems like going the international route is the way to go.

August 1 and the soccer schedule still isn't posted. In 2019 the first game was August 30. This seems pretty weird.

Has there been any point in time when the soccer team(s) didn't have a handful of people not from the continental US? Even in the days when it was a far less serious program than it is now (the best opponent was probably WPI and we played Clark and Assumption too) there were imports (for the lack of a better word).
