I'm glad to see PL players getting drafted. Exciting to see her play with Sue Bird and Breanna Stewart! Way to go!

Sue Bird's longevity is more impressive than Tom Brady's because you can't stand in the pocket as a point guard and you have to play defense as well as offense.

I'm glad to see PL players getting drafted. Exciting to see her play with Sue Bird and Breanna Stewart! Way to go! If you want to see her play with them, the best chance would be to see an early preseason game. Statistically the chance of a player taken in the second half of the third round to ever play in a regular season game is perhaps 20%. Still a great accomplishment for her. I think Lafayette did not make very good use of her considerable talent.

...if she even makes it to the preseason - WNBA rosters are only 12 according to the recent CBA - Lauren was cut before camp last year and the same thing could happen to Kukowski

If you are going to end up playing in Europe, it has to help getting your first contract to be drafted as opposed to undrafted.

If you are going to end up playing in Europe, it has to help getting your first contract to be drafted as opposed to undrafted. With Kucowski receiving an engineering degree from a good program, there is a good chance she will receive job offers in that field that exceed what she can make in Europe playing basketball. Still she may opt to play basketball there for the experience and because it's more fun.
