On the surface, it seems like a great hire. Helped laid the groundwork at Union with Leaman and elevated a Quinnipiac program from the ground up with Pecknold. Appears to be a tireless recruiter with local ties. He's been around two of the brightest hockey minds so I'm sure he's picked up a thing or two along the way. Based on the presser, seems that there will be tweaks to the system to help generate more offense, but his tenure will probably start and end with his ability to recruit. Strikes me as one of the "good guys" in the industry. Hopefully, he gets us back on our horse and the road to winning...quickly

Is his name pronounced REE-gah? Or some other way? AD Marcus Blossom in yesterday’s press conference pronounced it REE-gah.

Is that Rick Carter's son or a different Andrew Carter? Andrew is Rick’s son Andrew was my contact when I represented HC at college fairs here in Louisville--very nice guy. Chris Millard-also on the search committee-has been a friend for decades and it's great to see a Millard involved with any Holy Cross initiative

Andrew was also my contact when I represented HC at college fairs in central NJ years ago. I also had the pleasure of chatting with him one Friday afternoon in his office before a home football game on a Prez Council weekend. He is indeed a very nice man and a knowledgeable PL football fan.

Great to have Castan back in Central Mass.
His dad is one of the all-time best hockey characters.

Great to have Castan back at HC. Also, another new assistant: Rivier's program was starting this season. Nice job by him to get some free money and bail on the recruited athletes. 🤔🤔

Nice Q+A. I liked this quote especially. "they’ve been working with a passion that makes that seem very evident. I’m excited to see what they can do to prove people wrong and get back to the level that Holy Cross wants to be at." Now to see the development the coach spoke about take place on the ice!
