On the surface, it seems like a great hire. Helped laid the groundwork at Union with Leaman and elevated a Quinnipiac program from the ground up with Pecknold. Appears to be a tireless recruiter with local ties. He's been around two of the brightest hockey minds so I'm sure he's picked up a thing or two along the way. Based on the presser, seems that there will be tweaks to the system to help generate more offense, but his tenure will probably start and end with his ability to recruit. Strikes me as one of the "good guys" in the industry. Hopefully, he gets us back on our horse and the road to winning...quickly
Is that Rick Carter's son or a different Andrew Carter?
Andrew is Rick’s son
Andrew was my contact when I represented HC at college fairs here in Louisville--very nice guy. Chris Millard-also on the search committee-has been a friend for decades and it's great to see a Millard involved with any Holy Cross initiative

Andrew was also my contact when I represented HC at college fairs in central NJ years ago. I also had the pleasure of chatting with him one Friday afternoon in his office before a home football game on a Prez Council weekend. He is indeed a very nice man and a knowledgeable PL football fan.
