Not sure if people remember but he actually committed to Richmond on signing day 4 years back. But because he applied Early Decision at HC which is binding, he was unable to attend Richmond and played his 4 years at HC.

Good for Jack Bowler. I looked at his Twitter and it indicates Richmond '23 so he's getting a two year degree--presumably some sort of Masters.

I wish Matt every success at Saginaw Valley State. It appears they have a beautiful campus and are a solid Division II athletic program. They are coming off of a losing season last year (5-6). Perhaps Matt can help them turn that around.

Perhaps M Att can help them turn that around. Looking at at SVSU's grad programs, he has a range of master's programs from which to chose...good use of his athletic & academic achievement & talent

Well played Matt. What a beautiful indoor track and (football) field facility.

Would have been a great addition, but a great choice for his future

Yale is Yale and still means something in the world of education, business, law and medicine. Better options are always possible but I think most would welcome the opportunity.
You could be right, but not willing to say he made a bad choice.

Can you imagine transferring from Wake and then getting beat out by Degenhardt and a freshmen? On top of that, you can’t stick to your commitment and then you transfer to a Div 2 school? Good riddance…Kid doesn’t have the right mentality

I believe he graduated from Holy Cross and has two years remaining due to his red shirt year at Wake and his free Covid year. You can't honor your commitment much more than earning your degree at a school. I do share your surprise he couldn't earn more playing time after transferring from Wake Forest and the excitement expressed on the board about getting an ACC player.

He was a walk-on at Wake wasn't he? It's not like he was some three star recruit on full ride at an ACC school whose stock has plummeted. It sounds to me that getting to be a starting QB is more important to him than anything else

I seem to remember that both his parents are physicians or otherwise successful so he might not be worried about a scholarship, more just getting a shot to get on the field and play for two seasons while in graduate school. Four years of practice and receiving coaching but not getting a chance to play is generally described as character building.

The twitter post showing the HC receiver group with their shirts off convinced me that we are in good shape receiver wise. Good luck to Jay Brunelle at Yale.

As many high schools as Joe Pridgen, only one more college after LC to match Joe's college vagabondary. His dad is an assistant AD at Temple.
"The 6-1, 198-pound quarterback enrolled in Washington State in January of 2019. He participated in spring practice and took a redshirt season. Angelos spent the final two years of his high school career at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy in Philadelphia. He was a two-time All Inter-Academic honoree, throwing for 1,400 yards with 16 touchdowns and three interceptions as a junior while accumulating 1,900 yards with 27 touchdowns and three interceptions. As a freshman, he attended Carrollwood Day School in Tampa, Fla., collecting All-Hillsborough County honorable mention after going 62-of-103 for 1,200 yards with 12 touchdowns and four interceptions. His sophomore year was spent at Tesoro High School in Las, Flores, Calif., throwing for 720 yards and six touchdowns."

2 walk on's and 1 TE that did not see the field, even at 6'6", don't make me worry. I'll take Chesney's recruits for the over.
