FWIW, I've been trying to buy 4 tickets with the Barlok link and get to the point where you are supposed to click on a "BUY" box but instead get the circle with the diagonal international prohibition sign and I notice in the top right of the screen it says "TEST." Not sure what that means other than it is testing my patience with any and all thing related to technology and HC athletics.

Maybe call them on the phone.Β I ended up calling the Polar Park ticket office and purchased them over the phone. They sent them electronically via email and I was able to print them.

I think the link to purchase tickets through Polar Park may be the problem. I ended up calling the Polar Park ticket office, Told them I was a HC season ticket holder and bought them over the phone. I think they are supposed to ask for the access code that season ticket holders are given but no one asked me for anything other than my credit card info.

That watch it on TV idea faded fast once your purple blood started to percolate. If you made it all the way to New Jersey on one leg to watch HC in the Playoffs, you'll zip up Rte. 146 for this.π

Just got my notice but not as season ticket holder - "To our Board of Trustees, Board of Advisors, President's Council members and lead volunteers-". The cost is $60 per ticket [and that's listed as "general admission"]. This might be too rich for my blood. I am on a fixed income and can watch a lot of games at Fitton for a lot less. Combine that with the likelihood the seats aren't situated as well as Fitton and not sure I won't be watching this on TV. [Edit: it does say it "includes food and drink" but no details] I think these are club boxes, and if you bought four seats, that would be $240. i can't remember Tracy B. ever hawking tickets prior to this. But given the price,... there's always a first! "She did everything including sell tickets" - from the introduction at Tracy's future retirement party.

You should definitely have the chance to buy before the general public I would hope. Like the Yankee Stadium game, the Development Dept. Is supporting the Athletic Dept. and vice versa. Nice to see everyone rowing in the same direction instead of separate fiefdoms.

So, since you are all no doubt on the edge of your seats, I thought I would share that I did get my tickets for the game.
Did not do this on line as last I saw, it still wasn't working (not the general link, the one for the BoT/PC/volunteer link for the "posh" seats and food). I had tried one last time online and figured I'd just call the ticket phone number on Tracy Barlok's email. After 2 tries and getting a funky recording and realizing it wasn't a case of me misdialing, I went on line and checked the phone number. Turns out, the email had the wrong area code (800 vs. the correct 844).
Called and got through to Ryan who confirmed they were having issues with the on line ticketing link and he was "working on it." Informed him (and email to Tracy) that not only was the link not working but the phone number was wrong too. This is not Holy Cross' athletics department area of strength. But, the good news is Ryan made my ticket sale the old fashioned way.
Since others have posted no real issues getting their less expensive seats, not sure that they shouldn't put a little more focus on the heavy hitters (myself excluded). At minimum, proofing their letters and testing ticketing website before going live.
Or am I being too critical?

I bought 5 tickets from the website last night in section 2. I think they were 32 each. I bought 4 season tickets for 45 each.

Did they charge fees on top of the $32 for Polar Park? Yes the fees cam came out to 12.50. 12.50/5 equals? I called the ticket office and talked to Ryan about sending me the email. Also when I bought the season tickets over the phone a month ago. Ryan told me yesterday they were not on my account and I never got a conformation email. He said a few tickets purchased did not have names attached to them so they working on getting that settled. Ryan seems really nice.

I'm happy for Ryan he has one current sport where demand is strong for tickets or else he'd be like the Maytag repairman.π

A cool $2.50 per ticket to help pay off the Stadium debt. It's going to take longer to pay off this way than with my math.π Say there are 80 events per year. Conservatively the average attendance is 6,000. That would equal about $1.2 million per year. Not chump change.

The DCU imposes similar surcharges, or did last I looked. There was even a surcharge for big videoboards, as these were debt-financed.

Whether you buy one ticket or ten tickets, there will be a $12.50 fee. Sad but true in this day and age, it's hard to imagine a per ticket fee as low as $2.50

Unless you are Ticketmaster or other 3rd party vendor, just βburyβ any fees in the ticket price.
Itβs one thing if the vendor or seller has to mail the tickets so you have postage and handling but in this day and age where they are sending you a link for a bar code ticket that you download the work to have done that should have long ago been paid for and no charge.
