can't keep track of schools that maintained the dropping of various sports due to revenue issues related to the pandemic - the list of schools that have reversed those decisions is pretty long and now includes Stanford:
Stanford has reversed a decision it made last summer and will not eliminate 11 varsity sports, the school announced Tuesday.
The decision comes after months of pressure from high-profile alumni, students and coaches, as well as a fundraising effort -- spearheaded by a group called 36 Sports Strong -- aimed at helping the sports become financially self-sustaining.
"We have new optimism based on new circumstances, including vigorous and broad-based philanthropic interest in Stanford Athletics on the part of our alumni, which have convinced us that raising the increased funds necessary to support all 36 of our varsity teams is an approach that can succeed," Stanford President Marc Tessier-Lavigne said in a statement.
Roughly 240 athletes who participate in men's and women's fencing, field hockey, lightweight rowing, men's rowing, co-ed and women's sailing, squash, synchronized swimming, men's volleyball and wrestling were set to be impacted by decision.

Very happy to see the Olympic Sports restored at Stanford. These program have successfully contributed to the USA Olympic teams. Hasn't Stanford won some kind of Presidents Cup (or whatever it is called) for overall performance in multiple sports before? EDIT: Why ask a question when you can explore and find the answer. It is now called the Capital One Cup and Stanford has, indeed, won a number of times Champions

I trusted Wikipedia for theCapital One Cup. Perhaps there are multiple such awards or competitions such as there are multiple All America teams??

The. Director’s Cup, is sponsored by Learfield Sports. The award is given in each division with the combined points for both men and women at the school determining the Cup winner. Stanford has won twenty five times. I have seen the Trophies displayed in the Arrillaga Family Sports Center on Campus. The article found in the link below was written in 2012, when Stanford had won 18 Director’s Cup Trophies. news.stanford.edu/news/2012/july/directors-cup-hall-071112.htmlThe Capital One Cup unlike the Directors Cup, only recognizes Division One Sports, not D2 or D3. Easy to confuse the awards for athletic excellence. The image below is a display at the University of Oregon’s Football Complex next to Autzen Stadium. A facility that is truly impressive.

You'd think the players on a team that the school disbanded would be pretty discouraged about their season. Not so with LaSalle baseball which had a great season and their players are finding new schools for the '22 season. How much do you want to bet HC didn't reach out to any of the academically qualified athletes ?
from their site: La Salle finishes the season 32-21 overall and 15-9 in the Atlantic 10 Conference. Even though the Explorers tied with Saint Joseph's in the Atlantic 10 North standings for the final playoff spot, the Hawks won the tiebreaker.

A federal judge granted a temporary restraining order requiring UConn to reinstate its women's rowing team while their Title IX case is fully litigated. One interesting thing in the decision--the rowing coach testified that before the program was eliminated, she was required to keep 60 athletes on the team for Title IX purposes when an ideal total would be around 42. ecf.ctd.uscourts.gov/cgi-bin/show_public_doc?2021cv0583-49

I thought 42 seems high, but a quick check on the HC roster shows almost 40 rowers. I suppose three 8's two 4's two pairs and 2 singles equals 38 and throw in some coxswains. That still seems like a lot of boats. If there's no limit on the number of boats you can put into a race, no reason they can't all compete

Baseball's individual enough that playing for one's self (to get another team to play on) and winning usually aren't mutually exclusive.
