Without logging into spotify and just scrolling through the window, I have a few Dylan covers in my own record collection that were not in that playlist window. Dylan was covered by a ton of people. Many had bigger hits with his song than Dylan charted

You can argue about whether Dylan is much of a performer. In recent his years his voice has been tough to listen to, but when you consider all of the great songs he's written it's hard not to consider him one of the greatest American songwriters ever.

Some nights better than others, but with his terrific band his concerts were always very enjoyable.
Love this collection, thanks for posting 'hoops

Dylan was the high priest of my generation. He put his poetry to music. And, for this I am grateful.

Love this collection, thanks for posting 'hoops I saw him at the Palladium on Main Street in Worcester and it was tough to listen to. His voice was like Can Newton's throwing arm this past season. But other than that night I've enjoyed his music forever and used to listen to his albums in the little music rooms in Hogan. Celtics great Kevin McHale is also a native of Hibbing, Minnesota. When the Celtics and Dylan were scheduled in the same city Kevin's crew would come down from the Iron Range and attend both.

Never saw Dylan in concert, but I heard rumor back in the mid-80's that he played very few of his big hits from early in his career. In all fairness, with such a huge catalog it's hard to play all of the hits. Also back in those days, concerts will still about promoting new material

I can't think of anyone who has had as many great covers of their songs done by so many singers. Just a few: The Byrds (Mr. Tambourine Man), Jimi Hendrix (All Along the Watchtower), Peter, Paul, and Mary (Blowin' In The Wind), Richie Havens (Maggie's Farm), Guns n' Roses (Knockin' On Heaven's Door), etc. etc. etc.
