Is the AHA the worst hockey league in the country? You can't even make an argument for another league. Here are the leagues/teams Atlantic Hockey Air Force AIC Army West Point Bentley Canisius Holy Cross Mercyhurst Niagara Robert Morris RIT Sacred Heart Big Ten Michigan Michigan State Minnesota Notre Dame Ohio State Penn State Wisconsin ECAC Hockey Brown Clarkson Colgate Cornell Dartmouth Harvard Princeton Quinnipiac Rensselaer St. Lawrence Union Yale Hockey East Boston College Boston University UConn Maine Massachusetts UMass Lowell Merrimack New Hampshire Northeastern Providence Vermont NCHC Colorado College Denver Miami Minnesota Duluth Omaha North Dakota St. Cloud State Western Michigan WCHA (which is becoming the CCHA with Huntsvile/Anchorage out) Alabama Huntsville Alaska Anchorage Alaska Bemidji State Bowling Green Ferris State Lake Superior State Michigan Tech Minnesota State Northern Michigan Independents Arizona State LIU

Ice Hockey is not a sport sponsored by the Patriot League. patriotleague.org/I believe he was referring to Atlantic Hockey being the worst conference. A possible reason for Atlantic Hockey being perceived as a lower conference, is the number of schools such as AIC, Bentley, RIT, Mercyhurst, only playing one sport, Ice Hockey, as a Division 1 sport. We have a new coaching staff. HC can leverage their enthusiasm and initiative to do some damage in the AHA. It will be a multi-year project but should be enjoyable to watch the progress. There will be regular OOC opportunities to play teams from stronger leagues (every OOC game😗) and a fair shot at qualifying for the NCAA Tournament.

Forgot to add St Thomas (MN) to the CCHA who hired the old Miami (OH) head coach.
