Thank you, HCFC. Mike is a wonderful person and inspirational priest. Great to learn that his brother is also.

Over the years I've struggled a lot with my Catholic faith, but I've tried to never lose my deep appreciation for the selfless and devoted priests and nuns doing so much good. I enjoyed reading this article.

I share both your struggles (at times) and your appreciation. I would not be the man I have become without the Sisters of Charity, The Irish Christian Brothers, numerous Jesuits, and several parish priests.

About a dozen years ago, my mother-in-law was sinking fast while in a nursing home in Westboro. My wife and I discussed having a priest administer the "last rights". We inquired at the desk if there was a priest/chaplain available for such. They assured us that they would contact a priest and if available would come to be with us. It was not long after the request was made that Msgr. Foley came in and performed the sacrament. He prayed with us all and then we reminisced about our days at HC and career paths! In a word he was "Wonderful"! She passed a few days later.... Thank you Mike for being there with us and for us... so nice to have a familiar face present at such a time! We are forever grateful!!!
