It would appear that the Bucknell coach has given up on the season or at least this game based on the 2-deep for this game: Offense starters: 5 freshmen 4 sophomores 1 junior 1 senior Defense starters: 3 freshmen 4 sophomores 3 juniors 1 senior Which makes more sense--the above, or this for Georgetown at 1-9 Morgan State...and they lost. Offense starters: 0 freshmen 0 sophomores 2 juniors 9 seniors Defense starters: 0 freshmen 1 sophomores 2 juniors 8 seniors That's right: five starters return in 2022 and 33 seniors do not. I'd take the Bucknell approach.

I'm sorry, but Georgetown is an embarrassment the way they are going about D1 football....with the national brand they have and the resources they must have, to continually be such a doormat in a league like the PL is just ridiculous. Figure it out somehow or just drop football again.

Figure it out somehow or just drop football again. The problem is RECRUITING--Georgetown can't admit talent under this league's arcane rules. Otherwise, try to explain a 24-97 record in the PL since 2001.

While I'll agree that's a hindrance...it can't be the whole story....Harvard, Princeton, Yale etc, have the Ivy AI to deal with and they are some of the best FCS programs in the country. It's not just Georgetown's AI that's the problem...it's the "poor cousin" approach they take with their football program in the PL...no outright scholarships, sub-standard facilities etc....hey, I don't mind, it's usually an easy W against you guys but you guys could and should be so much bettah in football.
