Between high player turnover; new guys; Covid; I have totally lost track of what virtually any of the players look like.
I would appreciate someone listing players left to right so I can match them up in prep for the season.

Mike R, is no longer looking like a mountain man. Wonder if he plans on appearing as the HC version of Bill Walton for the season? Is that Nolan standing next to Louth? He appears taller than 6ā5ā. There is one other team member in the picture, behind Ralph and next to Malcolm and Caleb, that I do not recognize. Anyone know who he is? Could the mystery man be Tomer Oron? There is no picture on the roster page for comparison.

Tomer is standing between Mike R and Austin Lewis, from reviewing previous pictures.

I would appreciate someone listing players left to right so I can match them up in prep for the season. Back row players Louth, Nolan, Bubba, DJ, Caleb, Gerrale, Malcolm Front row players and coaches. Coach Sam Ferry, RJ, Judson, Kyrell, Coach Brett, Coach Ralph, Bo, Mike, Tomer, Austin, Coach RJ, Coach Joe Kennedy, DBO Anthony Richards. After not being in the Hart Center since February of 2020, especially with so many new players, it can be difficult to match names and faces. The only two that I have seen live are RJ, Mike and Judson. It will be fun to see how the team has matured with a full year together.

I had the same reaction to Dorsey in a tweet from this summer. Having a guy somewhere between 6'5-6'7 who can play 3-4 positions join the program with previous D1 experience could be a huge boost for this year's team. I believe L-R is Dorsey, Gates, Martindale, Luc. Quite interesting if Gates is actually 6ā6, as Dorsey and Martindale would both be 6ā7. Dorsey as a 6ā7 combo guard (if true) would be a very nice weapon. Luc also looks a bit taller than I expected next to this group.

Iām looking forward to some hoops! I got to look into the Hart Center last week, no video boards or installation started as of yet. I saw Martindale and Rabinovich Saturday at the football game. Both appeared to have bulked up a little. No dramatic change like Pat Whearty!

Need to revise my statement that I have seen four of the current team players in person, DJ, RJ, Mike and Judson. Just realized when rereading the post.

Best guess is that he happened to be in the area and visited the practice. I think Coach Nelson (and many of his predecessors) have a pretty open policy about former players coming and observing practice

I met some baseball players at the game. Schedule has some road games that people can travel to.

I think Coach Nelson (and many of his predecessors) have a pretty open policy about former players coming and observing practice Has practice started yet for the coming season? I don't think it's allowed at this time. I believe the NCAA sets a specific date (October 14 or 15 maybe) and all colleges must comply--that's what prompted Midnight Madness with schools starting the first practice at 12:01 AM in front of a big crowd. EDIT: See correction/update from purplehaze in his post below

Has Ralph gotten taller? If not HC better be quick this year because we aren't overly big.

Hard to invest time into following a team when you get the sense that everyone is there on a trial basis.

I believe formal practices can start 45 days before the first game so that means the last week of Sep - this time has moved up over the years but it hasn't been Oct 15 for awhile now

During that time period, a team is allowed to have a maximum of 30 practices.
