Due to language, a Not Safe for Work post, so will not embed it either, but Sarasota, was this one of your students commenting on the "How do you know she is a witch?" scene from Monty Python and the Holy Grail??

FU is blended into the culture of NYC the way BC is blended into the culture of Boston. They're both in very large cities. In that regard there's no comparison with HC. FU can never be blended as is BC NYC is much too large and diverse compared to Boston. With its main campus way up in the Bronx and an outpost next to Lincoln Center, Fordham is completely subsumed into the Greater New York area. The region is huge both geographically and in population, higher learning is dominated in the media by Columbia and NYU, and the sports scene is totally owned by the pro teams. In contrast, BC is in a much smaller city, is surpassed only by Harvard in name recognition and status, and is the only school playing intercollegiate athletics at a high level (yes, for football and basketball, it's sort of at a high level). BC also was/is more important historically and socially to its region's Roman Catholics than Fordham ever was to New York's Catholic population.

Yes, it is just a crying shame. Not sure how I made it this far in life without having done so. I am sure your course has been a huge benefit for those lucky people who have taken your logic course. yes, what a shame.......chuckling.................sighing

Beaven, it sounds like you may have also missed Sarasota's award winning (it must have been) logic course.

Actually, I created a Logical Fallacy Contest and my students really liked it. I believe Logic should be considered "the Fourth R" and taught in high school, but it is not for the most part.

For the last time.....I was not comparing FU/NYC to BC/Bos. I was comparing them both to HC/Worc. I'm done on this.

So far so good with Clifford. Why did CTG wait so long? Why did Clifford not start? Because he looked horrible last week? Come into the game at the half or soon thereafter, sure....but if he started it would have been outrageous. While I didn't see the game, from the stats it did not appear that Clifford got much of a look against Lehigh. He threw 2 passes, with one completion and one interception. An argument could be made that CTG should have given him more of a shot in that game as well. Bell threw 3 interceptions that day and we got crushed. It just seems that Clifford has a lot more upside than Bell.

I think he does have a good upside, and Bell has real ability as a receiver.
