From the same author
Holy Cross moved out of my Top 25 after a blowout loss to Harvard. That led me to also move Monmouth out for now despite it beating Gardner-Webb 54-17 this weekend. Monmouth lost 45-15 to Holy Cross last week. I’d have a hard time ranking Monmouth and not Holy Cross, right .

To answer the question, I have no reason to think Monmouth developed an answer during the season.

First round siting is not determined by any of the requirements for last year posted previously on the board. It's cash on the barrelhead. I hope our co-interim ADs are examining all unspent budget line items to amass a strong bid. The PL has Jermaine Truax, AD at Bucknell on the committee. I hope he'll fight for HC if we need an at large bid. The URI win over FBS UMass pushed the Rams onto the bubble after three straight losses. A good sign that wins over FBS laggards are valued in the unlikely event we lose to Fordham.

I cannot find the specs for the fall 2021 FCS championship site selection, but the attached link is to the NCAA by-laws for the spring 2021 championship site selection. Much of this is so detailed it must be boilerplate. s3.amazonaws.com/ncaaorg/championships/sports/football/d1/2020-21D1MFB_PrelimHostOpsManual.pdfThere are field dimensions diagrams as an appendix. Note the minimum distance between sideline and stands.

So the distance from the sidelines to the stands is not 24 feet? Why are games allowed to be played there overall if that's the standard; just as many possible safety issues from a shorter distance during the season than in any playoff game; more, in fact, because there's more games!
If so, a compelling reason to remodel the place.

How will the new governance at the NCAA that pushes policies to the three divisions and leagues effect this? It's going to be more like when the two MLB leagues had their own President and Office.

Also that link talks about sites having to have a light study done in the last two years. Has one been done on Fitton in the last two years since they don't have any lights???

I've found an issue to be against mandates on.
