Signs of life from the Yanks as they score 2 goals 7 seconds apart late in the second, Canada 3-2

Lost. 3-2. US had 31 shots on goal to 21 for Canada.

That's like getting 10 more hits in baseball but losing 5-4. Only the runs in baseball and goals in hockey count.

My point is the game winner is the team with the most runs, not the most hits. The hockey team with the most goals wins not the most shots.
But you knew that.

Great job by Coach LaChapelle, the back half of that game was excellent. Hope she had an opportunity to reach out to some of the many fine players in the tournament - although I suspect any real recruiting was on hold until after the tournament was finished.

They are u-18's so likely already committed

Currently HC has one European player on their roster. They had one other in 2020-2021 campaign. Interesting one of the goalies from Canada in the 2019 U-18's is on the HC roster and has appeared in only eight games in Worcester. goholycross.com/sports/womens-ice-hockey/roster/madison-beck/12641

It looks like she didn't make it across the border her frosh year, but will have ample opportunity to get on the ice this coming season as Brenon graduated but do have one incoming, Abigail Hornung, from the Berkshire School in Mass.

That's one of the best prep schools in the world.

I read the book and followed the case. An HC grad was the defense attorney who lost another high profile case. Nice fellow who has a knack for taking and losing very newsworthy cases. I am sure he has won a bunch of less famous cases over a long career.
St. Paul's cleaned up it's act I am sure. They have some famous alumni like John Kerry, Robert Mueller, Archibald Cox, JP Morgan and a bunch of NHL players.

I assume this is also a way to supplement her HC income.
