We gave up an extra skater goal with 35 seconds left to tie the score at 4 - no scoring in the OT so 4-4 final 2nd game tmro at 3 and then the long ride home from Erie - maybe Riga gets his first win tmro

Tough weekend. Giving up a goal in the last minute on Friday to end up losing in a shoot out and then losing on Saturday in regulation. It was a 3-2 game with a minute left and they gave up 2 empty net goals to end the game. It is going to be a long year, but the transfer from Quinnipiac scored a couple of goals and the transfer from Robert Morris is contributing too. The new freshman goalie played Saturday and seemed to play well as they were out shot pretty significantly, especially in Saturday’s second period. A couple of their recruits for next year are off to strong starts in juniors, Devin Phillips (AJHL) and Joe Solimine (NCDC).

Pretty decent weekend for the league (incl Bentley taking it to BC 6-2 as referenced here) - uscho site recap:
In addition to Bentley’s upset over BC on Saturday, other Atlantic Hockey action saw Canisius split at Rensselaer, Sacred Heart split at No. 12 Boston University, and RIT defeating St. Lawrence, 2-1, in front of nearly 7,000 at its annual Brick City weekend homecoming game at the AHL Blue Cross Arena in downtown Rochester, N.Y.
Yet these quality wins still fall short for the league. Atlantic Hockey stands at 7-23 out of conference and probably needs to be closer to .400 to earn an at-large NCAA bid in addition to the automatic qualifier. The conference has mostly closed the gap in talent and has the full complement of 18 scholarships for schools allowed to offer them. Somehow, Atlantic Hockey has to make the next step, and – adding another metaphor – get over the hump.

Football team loses, hockey team shocked by Bentley; former women's soccer coach sues them (wonder if our classmate, Mike Lavigne, is also part of this suit).
