Colgate is currently 2-5. They have wins over Georgetown and Lehigh (and are 2-0 in the PL). They lost to Boston College (0-51), Stony Brook (3-24), William and Mary (7-27), Brown (10-31), and Cornell (20-34). Their offense appears top. be developing, but is their defense that is their strength. After Cornell ran out to a big lead, their defense shut out the Biog Red offense in the second half.
Massey makes HC a 13 point favorite (27-14) on the "neutral" field at Polar Park. He gives HC an 84% chance for the win.

So one side of Andy Kerr Stadium looked a lot like the old visitors' side at Fitton (the other side looked like a high school field, a bad one at that, the time I went there)? The 1955 game was away according to the fact book.
What are the odds on showing a photo of a random game between Colgate and Holy Cross, it shows 2 pro athletes, AND neither one doing what they got to the pros for? Marv Hubbard was a Raider, a running back, not a punter. Pat Bourque played major league baseball.

Things I didn't know (or forgot) until looking up Pat Bourque just now: *Wusstah native *Once MVP of the AAA American Association *Traded for "Disco" Danny Ford Forgot he was a Cub, remembered him on the A's and Twins (got a game winning hit against the Sox late in the 74 season that was part of one of their bigger collapses...as they got to the memorable 75 WS the next year, it kind of flew under the radar screen). |

Just got an email stating that, before the game, you can "tailgate" across from Polar Park for $30 per vehicle plus applicable fees. Notoriously parsimonious Worcester folks (Worcester Galleria went bust, in part, because it charged 99 cents for parking) will not take kindly to this announcement. Wonder what the "applicable fees" could be?

Believe it's $3 extra. (10%?). I just booked the garage . . . I'm lazy and will pay for that laziness as they listed $20 but fees brought it to $22. I re-checked and apparently the garage is already filled.

If you win your confrence you should get a home playoff game. The first round is like a play in round anyway. I am sorry not interested in traveling to the 4th seed in the CAA that gets an at large bid. |
