The Ivy has a sweet deal with Friday night games on ESPN - tmro is a good, Princeton at Dartmouth (1vs 2 in the standings) Low temp tomorrow night in Hanover, NH will be 26F. In Hannover, Germany it will be 42F. I am on that game tomorrow.....should be an excellent one!

Take great pictures. I, on the other hand, will be at Fitton Field to watch the Crusaders take on Lafayette.

Oh, great! I might tune in to watch our pre-eminent shutterbug roaming the sidelines. 👏👏👏

Temp at game time at Dartmouth predicted to be 39. 32 by end of game. Practically no wind, so should be comfortable. Only thing that might keep the crowd down is the usual Ivy League apathy, which is one unfortunate influence of the Ancient Eight on the Patriot League.
Sad to read that Everything But Anchovies is no longer there. Their "commercials" during the games up there led us to that place, and it was quite good.

Dartmouth in the catbird seat now....play Cornell and Brown after this.
Yale still has a shot...if they beat Brown tomorrow, they go to 4-1 (along with Dartmouth and Princeton)...Eli play the Tigers next week.

Likely a tie for the title between two 6-1 teams

I pity IL players, coaches and fans who have no FCS tournament to strive for.

Awful game...Once Princeton's star running back suffered that nasty injury, took the life out of the game.
Meh...onto another game on Saturday now...

I watched some of the the second half on ESPN. Good game, Dartmouth very solid on both sides of the ball. Dartmouth QB threw some pinpoint passes. Game-time temperature at the start was 40 degrees. Attendance was 3814, which was probably also a legitimate count. I'm guessing the TV revenue was worth the game date and time.

I doubt the ‘tv revenue’ is close to significant- this Ivy - ESPN arrangement fills air time and ratings are probably minuscule - the prestige of the league made it happen

Rhode Island 32
Umass 20
UMass drops to 1-8, after losing the game in front of 7,284 fans on homecoming. Rhode Island improves to 6-3.

This was Dartmouth's THIRD Friday night game of the season. Someone at ESPN must really enjoy spending fall weekends up there. And I don't blame them!
URI over UMass very likely the last FCS over FBS scalp of the season. URI fighting for an at-large but still has work to do to break into the field. They probably need to win out with final two games v. UNH at home and at Elon. This would put them at 8-3 with an FBS win.

Their last playoff appearances were in 1984 and 1985 under future HC offensive coordinator Bob Griffin. We beat them in 1984. Shut them out in fact.
