The prognosticators picking GU over the Rams are likely doing so for one of two reasons: 1. wishful thinking in order to help HC's run to the 3rd championship or 2. looking for an upset as the only way to climb the leaderboard. Or, maybe both?

Or, maybe both? The 2nd one. Fordham could lose to Georgetown 80-0 but still would control their own destiny by beating HC the following week.

Fordham (34-27) - much as I would love a Georgetown upset. Lehigh (17-13) - this one is a true toss-up, but I liked some os the attitude shown by Lehigh last week. Holy Cross (34-14) - with the possibility of a good deal more if the offense gets it in gear for the Crusaders.

Fordham (Demorat has lived up to his preseason billing) Lehigh (this might be a 2 td + margin, the Bison are plain poor) Holy Cross (I will be disappointed if it's close)

I watched last weekends Gtown game twice and I think their move to the backup QB makes them a legitimate threat to score points against a depleted Rams defense-could be wrong but….it could be a nice win for the Hoyas

Get through tomorrow with a W and the PL is officially a two-horse race TBD on 11/13 in the Bronx. Lose tomorrow and we're still in driver's seat with win against Fordham. This would set up a possible three-way tie scenario and also turn us into huge Fordham fans for the final week of the season. I would ASSUME HC would get the auto in a hypothetical 3-way this year based on overall record.

Because IF we lose to Lafayette AND Fordham loses to Georgetown, all of a sudden Lafayette controls its own destiny the rest of the way. A three-way tie works out better for Holy Cross than a tie with Lafayette where we don't have the head-to-head.

A Holy Cross win solves all of this week's headaches. For another 7 days, yes. As FCTG would say, "It's Championship Week!", but 2 weeks in a row.

With all due respect, we don't deserve to be PL champs if we lose tomorrow (not gonna happen).

A Holy Cross win solves all of this week's headaches. The only problem is the game is at Fitton where HC dreams have gone to die this year.
