Assuming Flaherty is not coming back, that leaves only 8 Scholarship players projected on the 22-23 roster - we have had up to 14 schollie players in the past which means we could sign upwards of 6 during this cycle - where do we stand beyond yday’s signing ?

Yes, I wonder what happened to Flaherty. Her older brother played one year as a walk-on. She, though, is on scholarship, right?

Hope not ! When has a school maintained 2 yrs of a scholarship when the student athlete left the team ? (I think there was an example of this for the men's team but it's not a policy)

I would expect they will try to add at least one more to this class of 3 (presuming that Flanagan signs), which would get you to 12. I do recall that Magarity mentioned them actively working the transfer portal at the coaches night so that may help the situation. Currently have 2 commits Lewis, a 6'1 forward & Bachmann 6' guard for '23.

There was a commitment from a Kaitlyn Flanagan at one point. Any indication she will sign or has she withdrawn her commitment?

Been looking for it - both her twitter & school's have been silent, no suggestion she signed elsewhere. Not unusual for a school to have a signing day so perhaps something will show up later today or tomorrow. She looks to be a pretty good old school PG pass first shoot second.

My question: does this class upgrade our quickness / speed / athleticism ? - if not we will only see more of the NU game in the future when we play teams in higher leagues

Hopefully all 4 are and have been healthy. Big problem (or, as some would say, bad luck) in recent years.

Donnelly and Cahalan will match up in the conference final this weekend. Sounds like Donnelly is a pretty good defender. “Justine Pissott – one of the top players in the state and headed to Tennessee next year – returned to action over the weekend and was ready to go again Tuesday. Manasquan senior Mary Donnelly took on the unenviable task of guarding the Red Bank Catholic stud. “With that challenge, Donnelly produced one of the best defensive performances of her career. She held Pissott to just five first half points and locked her down the rest of the way, allowing zero points in the second half.” amp.app.com/amp/6845625001Pissott is 6’4”. Donnelly is 5’10”. Donnelly completely shut her down. Bodes well for our ability to play inside in future years.

Two caveats, this was Pissott's 2nd or 3rd game back after being out for a while with a hand injury & she really is more of a wing - still impressive job by Mary

Sidwell is ranked #1 in the country, at the time of the game this past weekend SJV was ranked #3/5. By the way Cahalan & Donnelly's teams play against each other this weekend for the Shore Conference title.

Bill Walker's daughter, Kyndal, is in the class of 24 and playing for St John's in the DC area. She is receiving significant mid-high D1 attention, including an offer from Arizona

Does HC13 have the results of the Shore conf final with Cahalan vs. Donnelly ? what kind of seasons did our four signees have - we will need them next year, imo SJV won 74-36 today vs Immaculate Heart for the NJ Non-Public Class A title. They have so much talent that I imagine they could’ve entered two teams and come in first and second. One of their current players, a 6-3 junior, committed to Bucknell a couple of months ago.

Donnelly was held to two points and three rebounds, while Cahalan had three points and three rebounds.
