Pretty sure it WAS Wiegel. As I posted previously, I had a conversation with Kreimer's father who said that his son was initially assigned #81 but switched to #0 and #14 in different games depending on who can't or wouldn't be playing. All because he was initially slotted as a WR (i.e, #81) but switched to cornerback - which I've never seen him play - as he seems almost exclusively as a returner. The only other guy it could have been was Pesansky (#16) but if you think he didn't look 6'5", do you really think he looked 6'4"? Pretty sure Wiegel is 4th string and if all he was going to do was hand off and kill time, maybe you prefer #4 in than #3 in in case of potential injury? I was judging height by when the QB and RB were lined up the backfield. Fuller and Abrams are listed at 6'. And there did not seem to be five inches difference between the QB and RB. The QB's number was 10, which is assigned to a DB, Ruane. If they want us to root for the laundry, they need a better laundry contractor who can keep all the shirts available.

It has to be Sacred Heart at HC, no?

3 or 4 of Bucknell 1st downs where by penalties, refs could not stop the onslaught by the Crusaders. Convinced everyone about being head and shoulders over every other PL team. HC offensive line uses many players and they are just nasty.....hope we get recognized tomorrow by the NCAA and get a home game ! Siderman can throw the ball with touch and different deliveries to receivers, he would be scary for any defensive co-ordinator to try and stop. Wait until he uses the running backs coming out of the backfield to further pressure the defense with short throws. Defense continues to improve and build depth around the linebackers, future looks great !

Point differential in the PL was +29.5 for HC.
One of the most dominating seasons in the history of the league.

Didn’t like seeing Eric Schon come up limping late in the 4th. He’s our number 1 reserve Guard (been playing both LG and RG to spell Brekke and Hanson) and shouldn’t have been out there. Likely starter to replace Brekke in 2022. Other #2 Guard Dalton Daddona already out the rest of this year.

In other words, the officials got more yards for Bucknell than Bucknell did.
Hope we never get that crew again.

HC's first PL championship season where they went 6-0. The best Duffner did was a couple of 5-0s. No Hoyas then. In fact, only the last two years of his tenure included Fordham.
TG's championship and Ches in 2019 were both 5-1.

Separate OOC and conference seasons, easy on-ramp to FCS playoffs, opportunity for an FBS game every year as well as ability to maintain traditional non-PL rivalries.

Who's fault is that though? Fans of other PL schools are bemoaning the quality of the PL, while it is poor right now....HC has their best team since we last had scholarships prior to 1992. If HC can produce a team like this in the PL, it's logically possible other PL schools could too.

Over the last six quarters (and fifteen seconds) we out-scored the opposition 80 to 6.
I don’t have the numbers for us, but I think our defense gave up less than 140 net yards over those same six quarters.
I can’t imagine that there are any teams looking toward tomorrow’s selection show thinking, “I hope we play Holy Cross!”

That was a dominant performance....we are head&shoulders above everyone else in a very weak (why?) PL....is it just coaching? If we can be this solid in the PL, why can't others? Remember how you said Holy Cross had problems recruiting once scholarships were reinstated? Not any more...

Remember how you said Holy Cross had problems recruiting once scholarships were reinstated? Not any more... I really don't think I said that...I've always been a firm believer that the non-scholarship football PL was one of our biggest problems...it is being proven to be correct. A scholarship HC football program (with our facilities, coaching etc) should be (and is) very formidable at the FCS-level.

I'll agree with you there....Chesney is a much bettah recruiter than TG imo....I love the fact that Lehigh sort of salvaged their season and will be burdened with TG for at least another year or two.

Speaking of recruiting, Mark Forucci QB commit From Wheaton North (Chicago) won last night in the Illinois state semifinals against Brothers Rice 45-27. He beat the QB from Rice who’s going to ND on scholarship. Playing St. Rita’s next Saturday in the Finals. So another QB coming to the Cross with lots of talent.

Really no excuse for letting that Bucknell team get positive yardage. Hope Chesney has our men more focused next week.

Also hearing that DL Dillon Springer (#91) suffered a broken bone in his foot and was in a walking boot after the game. OL Eric Schon (#64) seemed to be OK after getting dinged up in the second half.
