Tyler Purdy did not play after the opening kickoff - any news on his injury ? Hearing he has a MCL sprain. Unclear how long he may be out. Hope he’s okay. At least RB is a place where we have a lot of quality depth should he not be able to go next week.

Did not understand having Purdy receiving kickoffs yesterday. Plenty of others could catch the ball and fall down. Then let Sluka and Siderman advance 80 or so yards

Almost 50K. That kinda justifies IL decision to skip FCS playoffs. Playing before 4000 at Monmouth would be quite a letdown. It just reduces relevance of FCS football in New England, which HC would benefit from if more team's fans were following and commenting on the horse race for the playoffs, pairings, seedings, etc. They would still get that and the playoffs. The other Ivys don't get Harvard vs Yale excitement. ...same problem the PL has with end of season games. There is only one of them that is traditional and draws a big crowd. All the others get rotated.

Interestingly (or not), I see no article about the Bucknell game in the T&G. Am I missing something? Or because we clinched the title the prior week it just wasn't newsworthy?

Purdy was hurt on the kick off to Bucknell as he was trying to make the tackle on the ball carrier. Fumble occurred with HC recovering. Hopeful he gets the needed medical attention to be back in uniform.
