Sacred Heart is 8-3. They are on a 6 game winning streak (after two losses to Dartmouth and Howard).
Massey has HC as a 20 point favorite (30-10) with a 95% chance for the win.

I'd take a one point win if someone could guarantee that but 20 points would definitely be sweeter.

Sagarin has our Predictor at 50.7 and Sacred Heart at 35.0 Add 3 points for home field advantage and we'd be a 19 point favorite

This is the third time HC has played SHU. True, they are a different team now than they were then, but so is Holy Cross. (The earlier scores - both games at Fitton) were HC 56 / SHU 21 in 2005 and then HC 52 / SHU 21 in 2009.) As to the 20 points, let's see what other predictions are like. Personally, I am in the "one point more than SHU" school of thought.

I know Chestnutt was/is hyped as one of the best RBs in FCS. He was injured but has returned to the lineup. Weather looks to be about 40, 10-20 mph wind Saturday....you're welcome ACTP.

As someone mentioned in a previous thread, I’d prefer an opponent with a good rush offense to one with a good pass offense. Take nothing for granted but I like our chances even though we are better on the road.

Perused a few box scores quickly. Seems like SHU wants to run it 40-50 times per game and pass it 15-20 times. They have a two-headed monster at RB in Grant and Chestnut. Both have some pretty gaudy yards per carry stats. Chestnut did miss some time earlier in the season but has been back for the last three games.

SHU roster has many transfers from other colleges. They also have grad school which helps.

Oddly enough, this is probably the very best matchup HC could have hoped for and the very best matchup SHU could have hoped for.

Agree - maybe the geniuses in the AA don’t realize the conflict - a 4 or 5 pm start should be arranged immediately
