/\ It absolutely never occurred to me that news regarding BC and other schools might influence HC. 🙂

Great news on the Carty hire. Hopefully we can give Chesney an amount of money that makes it much harder for him to leave than he is currently making.

We currently have the best team and the best coach in the PL. TPTB have to make BC the highest paid coach in the league and give him the most money to hire assistants. This does not mean that when he leaves the next coach gets paid the same. Instead, the next coach is told that if can consistently win, he too will be the best paid coach in the league.
As far as I am concerned we play the BCS games to pay the coaches. There is another one next season.

I wonder if our great 2021 season will draw more fans to Fitton Field next year? We're never going to make big money off ticket sales but an extra 1 or 2,000 fans a game would bring in a little incremental cash

Who knows how many vs Sacred Heart ? (Many SH fans)

The new AD can approach local business CEOs and give a discount, give them ad space, and tell them together we are a part of the Worcester future. Most will find a way to make it work if they are asked and made to feel a part of a rebirth in the community.

Sacred Heart was a terrific game but I thought my toes got frostbite. Even with toe warmers. Unfortunately the Patriot League is so weak there’s not a lot of interest. TheHarvard game had a decent crowd. Coach Chesney does some good community outreach. I’m also picking up that the new president is doing outreach. Some of you will remember John Anderson the history prof. He’s giving the president a city tour and history lesson in a couple of weeks.

The fact that Anderson is engaged is special and good for Holy Cross and Worcester I think we are close to making something special for Worcester if we are successful, it truly will benefit Holy Cross
