If she had a 48-point triple double as a soph, plenty of people will be looking at her. Hopefully she loves her mother’s (or father’s so as not to offend) cooking and wants to stay close.

Her sister is committed to BU already so might be a lost cause as her sister got offered from HC also. I think HC knows about her.

Needs to add considerable muscle to be a college frontcourt player. Might be such a great ballhandler/shooter that she'll be a wing person, however.

That’s her sister, who has already committed to Boston University. The sister’s AAU team is the Huskies.
she has a ton of offers, and has made a number of unofficial visits, including Bucknell. But I expect her to end up committing to Boston University to play with her sister.

Photo doesn't indicate she needs two years to develop enough to begin college ball and Ivy League offer from Columbia indicates she doesn't need the academic enhancement of an extra prep school year to succeed in college.
I hope parents aren't placing too much emphasis on what an AAU coach or fee based consultant says. Four years of high school, four years of college and then move on is a tried and true formula.

All her offers mentioned above occurred after she reclassified. I'd guess she had a breakout AAU summer season. In her case, any advice she received was good advice. I suspect she is a example of a kid who may have been squeezed out for '23 due to the portal.

Good info. Sounds like the situation was well played by player and parents. I hope she comes to HC. Noble and Greenhough is where Ayla Brown played her senior season before matriculating at BC where she averaged 6.9 ppg for her career. Perhaps that could have been 16.9 ppg in the PL, but possibly not as rewarding as contributing at the highest level.
Perhaps Joey Reilly would have had a more productive college career if he went to Phillips Academy for a PG year instead of going to HC right out of HS. It's fascinating.

It is becoming quite common for athletes to do 5 years of high school, either by reclassifying and repeating a grade or by taking a post-grad year.
