Some grad years on tap. Bucknell players Taylor O'Brien and Marly Walls both in the transfer portal. Maybe one could team up with Avery wherever she goes for her grad year.

Wouldn't be surprised to see a couple BU players stay there as grad students. Men's side, too.

Where are the HS seniors who are good enough to get a D-1 or 2 scholarship in ordinary years, but not during this four year window of universal free Covid years but stationary numbers of scholarships? By percentage: PG year in prep school; Walk-on in D-1 or 2; D-3 or community college or other juco I'll go 31% each with seven percent joining the military or going to work full time and perhaps community college part time.

Southwest Airlines put it best in their commercial: "Bing. Wanna get away?"

I think an announcer said American seniors were returning next year I had heard much the same at the beginning of the season - makes sense as I don't believe they signed anyone for the incoming class of '22.

Four out of the five seniors are returning for American including the starting backcourt. This will make NotJuanJones very happy.

I'm too old to hold a 21-year-old's intent at a given moment to heart. But, yes, for now, Edwards, Fisher, Brown and Doring are all supposed to be returning next season. If that holds, we will have a ridiculously experienced team: four super seniors, two "regular" ones (Karla Vres and Lauren Stack), and four juniors who've all played extensive minutes (Emily Johns, Ivy Bales, Riley DeRubbo and Kayla Henning).

What type of graduate programs will they be pursuing if you know? The 1998 election for Worcester's seat in Congress featured a race between Democrat Jim McGovern and Republican Matt Amorello who held one bachelor and two masters degrees from American University between them. Congressman McGovern is a double Eagle. He should host a reception in the Hart Center for AU fans who come to his district for a game and one at Bender Arena for his constituents who travel for a Holy Cross game.🙂

I admire your resolve and wisdom with regard to the whims of youth. That perspective escapes me as much as I might try! For me, I am wholly committed to the intent and rollercoaster ride of 18-21 year olds every season for at least 25 games worth of joy and heartache. These covid off-season manuevers add a whole new level to the ups and downs! Hoping for the best over here.

Childs was on the PL all rookie team then started every game as a sophomore. Perhaps she can have a resurgence under a new coach.
The player who left the BU team was a senior from Maine. Let's say she is not a logical candidate to be a grad transfer with a scholarship somewhere. If she enrolls at the University of Maine in a graduate program on her own and pays in-state tuition, can she walk on to the Maine WBB roster with no complications or does the NCAA step in and say Maine has to count her towards their scholarship limit? I seem to remember some kind of regulation to prevent schools from stacking extra players, which seems unfair to student athletes.

I like this Foley girl from Andover. 6-3 junior and knows how to pass the ball.

Childs started 11/14 last year & 8/16 this year. She was out for a large part of the PL due to injury. She is a very good player. O'Brien was first team PL and should end up somewhere pretty good. Esposito, hard to tell, numbers not great, but was a glue player for BU. Since its a COVID year free pass, can't image your scenario would be a problem

I seem to remember some kind of regulation to prevent schools from stacking extra players, which seems unfair to student athletes. if she is paying normal tuition and other expenses, she would be allowed to play. Also if she were receiving need-based aid but had not been recruited, she would still be eligible. The problems begin if a player was recruited and receives need-based aid or various academic scholarships etc. In that case the player would be a “counter”.

Doesn't have much of an offensive game at the college level, unlike she did in high school. She'll be a good fit at some schools, not at others.
