When was the last time the Hart was filled to greater than 50% capacity. I would say last winter homecoming. That was a pretty lousy team in Nelson's first year, so might have to go back to the prior winter homecoming

All true, but there’s no reason to believe our players are more likely to get Covid in front of 600 masked fans than 300 masked fans.

I believe the question revolved around HC requiring a Booster shot. Many school from the list require students to have had there booster shots. HC is the only one that I have seen that has a booster required for all to attend an indoor athletic event. As previously noted, the schools that I quickly surveyed have posted policy that dates from the fourth quarter of 2021. Most in the early fall. Before Omicron.
While comments seem to indicate the players are less vulnerable, one should also include the support staff required for operation of the indoor events. Many are older and more susceptible to infection.

I assume this means they will honor individual game tickets purchased prior to the season ticket only rule from two policies ago.
We sort of saw this coming when the alumni office was promoting the Army basketball game as part of homecoming. As a practical matter, other than the homecoming game, 50 percent capacity means anyone who wants to go to a basketball game, can go. The hockey capacity is so small, they might get 50 percent more often.
Small steps toward normalcy are still steps forward

Only change I see is allowing someone to attend that can show proof of a negative Covid test.
The "someones" however, are the same "someones" as in the previous missive, are they not? No additional "someones".

Should we start taking bets as to what coach will show? I'm guessing Brett will throw RJ out there being an alum and former player.
Others can (and surely will) correct my memory but
Ralph - never or virtually never Sean - did some/most himself Milan - same as Sean Bill - don't think he had any Brett - we'll see but will be shocked if he shows up himself. He's got Ralph's built-in excuse that he's too busy preparing for the game (an excuse that the AD told me was bogus).

P.S. If you didn't get this, just one more example of the inability of HC athletics to get their distribution list to run without glitches.

You are correct about the masks in Worcester on the 18th. However, that means HC now has a choice. Through this week, the mask requirement at Hart was thrust upon the school. Next week. HC can decide on its own whether or not to require masks at Hart. Looking at things like the concession policy, HC seems to tend towards stricter than bare minimum policies, so I'll be bringing a mask with me on the 23rd
