I can't remember the last time they beat BU @ BU, it's been a while AL 30/11, McCormack 13

Really impressed with the HC D today.

Avery 30/11 ties her career points high iirc.

Almost gave this game away like the men. With a 1 point lead, AL gets tied up and Demski steps on the line giving Bison the ball back with about 7 seconds but they couldn't hit. Exciting game and one we are lucky to have won. Agree, but I do think both AL & Demski were fouled on those plays. Generally, refs were pretty good but made some really odd calls the last 4 mins of regulation & OT

Exciting game and one we are lucky to have won. The "tie up" would be unnecessary roughness and a fifteen yard penalty in the NFL.

At least the refs corrected their error on the technical and both-sides-ed it. But in OT, they looked shaky,

If we had to split with Bucky, nice that the win put an HC team into first place. Now let's sweep AWP in hockey.

No way that was a jump ball. Without a doubt the worst of many bad calls by these refs. Nearly cost us the game

Worst refed game I have seen in quite a while; both ways. I didn't think AL was a candidate for POY due to her very low shooting % but I've changed my mind. I wish that she wouldn't take so many forced shots driving to the basket, however.

Looking at the HC turnover again, it appeared that Demski was pushed/bumped by the BU defender. That was what caused Demski to step out of bounds. The earlier "tackle" of AL that was called a jump ball was "interesting." They could have sent AL to the line on that one.

Well, no explanation on BPC other than "out."

Nice painting in the background representing the long road of a basketball season. Today's game: Without BPC. On the road. Against the second winningest coach in D-1 behind Geno.

No bad call beats the one Martindale got a technical on in the men's game.
If you weren't watching, Judson was standing still made an up fake, the defender behind him went for it, jumped, landed on Judson's back. No call.

Wrong thread but I agree anyway. Egregious non-call.

I put it in this thread considering some women's posters may not watch the men's game.

I put it in this thread considering some women's posters may not watch the men's game. I was watching split screen for the last five minutes or so. Both games had almost identical scores as they ticked down, featured monster performances by their respective stars (AL's 30 and 11, GG's 32 and 13), with both outcomes uncertain until the final possession. The women's finish was exciting. The men's finish just felt inevitable.
The women are off to their best conference start in sixteen years, and playing like contenders. The men are . . . not.
Two programs going in different directions.
