Massey makes HC a 1 point favorite (73-72)...not much defense expected from either team. It is a virtual toss-up with HC having a 52% chance for the win AT HOME.

If we win what are the possibilities for the regular season?
I think we all understand what a loss will do
A few coaches must be on the hot seat unless they are protected by the disruption of the virus

No seat is hotter than in what was dubbed by the Convention and Visitors Bureau as the "Paris of the Nineties," Worcester, Mass.

80's not 90's, and that was arguably the most foolish marketing campaign of all time.

At least on the website it shows up as a scheduled game, not "postponed". 'twould make some of us feel a lot better if they posted one of those pregame stories today.

M&W games both scheduled for 2PM. The ESPN+ replay feature will come in handy.

Bucknell stayed with Colgate last night and were down only 51-50 with 11 minutes left - then they scored all of 6 points the rest of the way and lost by 19 I can’t imagine we’re favored on Saturday without a fully recovered RJ - The Bison have better shooters than us

A few coaches must be on the hot seat unless they are protected by the disruption of the virus Including both Nelson and Nathan Davis. Interesting speculation on the Bison board by bison137, re: possible replacement candidates for Davis (scroll down) . . .

Shouldn’t we let the Bison know that Nelson might be available for them at the end of this season? Isn’t that what friends do? 🤷

A good start to Kit's shopping list.

Wouldn’t be great (for us) if both Bucknell and HC jobs are open at the same time. Similar candidates and Bucknell is a better job.

A lot of overlap as far as potential candidates go....given that Paulsen is out there for the taking, why not go back to the well if you're Bucknell?

Some suggest his assistants were the key to his recruiting success, and I seem to recall 137 complaining about DP's stubborn insistence on straight up m2m, even when the game circumstances might dictate otherwise.

I find it hard to believe a fan board finding fault with a coach I also find it hard to believe that Bucknell and Holy Cross are going to find coaches with better track records and success than a guy like Dave Paulsen. Obviously, some folks lean into youth, thinking they have the next great thing, but with both programs scraping the bottom of the barrel, I don't think you could blame an AD for going to a guy like Paulsen. Additionally, if his recruiting chops were down to his assistants, I think you gotta believe he is capable of assembling a good staff again.

Kevin Bettencourt may still have a grudge against HC for not giving him a basketball scholarship. Ralph decided on another player.

So use that and give him an opportunity some day to beat RW's marks at HC.

Kevin Bettencourt may still have a grudge against HC for not giving him a basketball scholarship. Ralph decided on another player. Good point Crucis. In terms of the overall PL, though, he may have choices. I feel like there could be a lot of coaching turnover after this year, or maybe none at all. Thinking quickly, would have to think DeChellis, Allen, Hardy and Dr. Reed are probably staying put, but after that: Joe Jones - BU doesn't seem to care much about hoops, but if they disappoint again? Matt Langel - if he gets Colgate back to the dance, will it then be time for him to leave? Nathan Davis - read Bucknell board lol Mike Brennan - read AU board lol FOH - he has to retire at some point, doesn't he? CBN - no comment

Wouldn’t be great (for us) if both Bucknell and HC jobs are open at the same time. Similar candidates and Bucknell is a better job. I've never been in either joint, but Bucknell's Sjolka (sp?) Pavilion looks much better on TV than the Hart Center to this occasional observer. Bucknell also generally seems to play a more challenging OOC schedule and has certainly had superior results over the past decade or so. Any other reasons why you think it's a better job?
