I could have said "he could be a college level Isiah Thomas (the little guy, not the IU/Piston guy) in five years or Steve Strother (the PC player from the 70s that, according to either Peter Gammons or Bob Ryan; had the uncanny ability to keep both teams in the game at the same time)". friarbasketball.com/2019/10/09/stro-man-stro/Stro’s top moment came during a 103-85 win over arch rival Holy Cross. Strother scored 26 points and handed out 8 assists and singlehandedly broke the Crusaders’ heart. Bob Cousy, who was the color analyst for Holy Cross, said of Strother during this game, ‘He’s the only guy I know who can keep both teams in the game.’

But, I'm not implying Mr. Luc has any of Stro's extra-curricular baggage, however. Just on the court I'm talking about.

The portal picked up 6 new names in the last 24 hrs. Watch it blow up in the next 28 days as seasons come to an end. Speaking of which are the Crusaders and the loser of the other PL play-in game the first teams to have their seasons end in the country?

No news is good news at season's end regarding HC players in the portal, right?

I wasn’t super-impressed with him as a B1G player the one time I saw him play at WA. As a PL player on the other hand, we might have something.

I saw him play at WA too. Has potential but might be a real project.

A more skilled version of Coulibaly would be my best description from having seen him three years ago. Would be a solid get for us and fill a need if he has the grades.

And he wouldn’t have to play for Fran McCaffery anymore!

I'm sure transfers from all over the country are going to be lining up this off season to snag a coveted spot on the 349th ranked squad.

Being comfortable in Worcester, having two friends on the team and having a good chance to play a lot of minutes are all factors that should help HC if Ogundele has the grades. As with any transfer, chances are small we’ll be the school he chooses but we have a better chance with him than with many other 6’11”, 260 lb guys from P5 teams.

No doubt a Chesney type coach have a better chance of signing transfer& recruits, too. Of course HC would not be ranked at 3471/2.

Neal Quinn (Lafayette) has entered the transfer portal. We'll take him. Do I remember correctly that the PL has a league rule prohibiting players from transferring within the league? Or am I just dreaming?

There never was a prohibition, but there was an extra long sit-out, which effectively made transfers impossible. However I believe they did away with that feature in the bylaws last year.

Neal Quinn (Lafayette) has entered the transfer portal. Looks like he has two years of eligibility. From the little I saw of him, he looked like someone who could certainly help us. He should have the grades. I wonder if there is a gentlemen's agreement not to take a league transfer.

What makes you think he'd have any interest in coming to another pL bottom of the barrel program?
