Great planning. If you scroll down the tweets there is a photo of PVR with HC Washington Semester students at the MBB game at American last night. Perhaps he and Kit were on a road show. Disappointed they didn't have a better HC game to watch. Perhaps there will be a student bus for the BU-HC WBB showdown in Boston if both teams are still tied for first place.
Odd that the two BU games are bunched at the end of the season, but adds drama if both teams keep winning.

I'm happy PVR was at last night's game in person - he must be fully informed of the status of our men's program including witnessing such a performance

But how many more trips does he want to make, hat in hand to raise the money to buy out BN? Firing the coach before his contract is up comes out of Vince's hide to some degree.

He was hired on Fr. B's tour of duty. Don't think it'd come out of Vince's hide in any degree. You might see a surge in basketball CAF donations if Kit pulls the trigger.

Addition by subtraction? I think you have landed on the consensus of judgement day at the end of the season. I hope things do click before then and if as is becoming more likely, a change is needed, it is accompanied by as little collateral damage as possible (Turnover).
BN may have muttered one of the magic words to get a T, but he shouldn't hang his head. He's shown up every day and tried his best. If he leaves in the Spring the world is still his oyster compared to many people.
Fr. B. may have approved BN's hiring but PVR is responsible for managing the budget now. I wonder if CAF contributions jump more from the relief of a firing or from the pride of a championship? FB contributions after TG's firing compared to after our three championships would provide a clue.

I can only speak for myself. I have donated every year since it was created to the football Gridiron Club.
When CAF was created for all other sports, I also donated to men's basketball. Then they (Pine) said any donation to a sport that had both men's and women's team, no matter how you wanted to donate, had to be split 50/50. Apparently, that was his interpretation of Title IX and also a way to get more leverage for donations to women's sports. I felt my basketball donation to the men's team was being diluted, so it all went to football as I wasn't happy with Gibbons' leadership and lack of results. Then, Blossom(?) reversed that and you could once again donate to either/or/both men's and women's teams and by that time, Nelson had turned the very mediocre men's basketball into the 3-29 disaster while the ladies lost Gibbons as a coach and Magarity became permanent coach, so my donations are now going to football and ladies basketball.
I will not donate a dime to the men's basketball team for the foreseeable future. For clarification, my donations are not split 50/50 football/ladies basketball.
I supported football under TG in the good years and not-so-good years and always under BC. Not a strict formula but the factors I consider are the coach and results. A coach with great leadership and good results both on the field and academics gets more support. An A-hole who gets decent results might get some support. An A-hole coach who gets poor results gets nada. I don't want to encourage that.
[More than anyone wanted to know!]

Thanks for all your contributions. Curious about BN. Being ovah his head does not place him on the "A"🙂 team does it?

I think my opinion on the current head Crusader basketball coach has been made clear enough in prior posts. Losing a lot of games does not automatically get one on my A-team. Ignoring fans and failing to communicate with them or being brusque with them when they reach out as one poster did, can get you there.
Neither Sean Kearney nor Milan Brown made my A-Team. 😉

Lehigh defending the post straight up. Should go into Allen and Ezemma. They are both capable of scoring.

What are they drinking over there at Massey? It appears to be truth serum after the first quarter. But Avery and co. should keep launching. There is no column for shot attempts in the standings.

Don't expect all four Lehigh coaches back next year. One of them sold their soul to the Devil to get tonight's three point shooting percentage.

LU finish the 2nd qtr on a 14-4 run to lead by 7 at the half 41-34. LU remarkable outside shooting 12/19 from beyond the arc. Need to make some adjustment I think, or do you hope they go cold?
