The Women's Swimming and diving team has quietly reached 4-3, with all four victories against D-1 schools in dual meets. In addition they won the Worcester City Championship against WPI and Clark.
Victories were over Providence, Maine, Fairfield and Colgate.
Men's Soccer was 8-8-3
Women's Fall Tennis was 5-2 with all victories against D-3 and 2 competition
That makes five teams including FB and WBB that have either completed their season at or are currently at .500 or better. That seems like an improvement over past years.

It does seem that way and congrats to all who are making this possible.

I'm going to need to see more evidence beyond a .500 men's soccer team, women's tennis not winning a Division 1 match, and women's swimming making seemingly nice strides.

I really think LS spends hours pouring over our records trying desperately to find a silver lining - I admire his zeal but not his suggestion that things are better He conveniently does not mention the regression of numerous women's sports including Field Hockey, Soccer, Volleyball and Lacrosse.
Keep trying and good luck digging up evidence

Keep trying and good luck digging up evidence I'm out of ammo for now. The records of sports like Volleyball 2-25 and Women's Soccer 1-15-1 are still breathtaking, in the wrong way. I just don't seem to recall five teams at .500 or over in recent years.

We've got softball starting in a couple of weeks (with a new coach) and other spring programs taking the field as well. We should have enough data in a month to know if it's a trend or a fluke. Fingers crossed.
