I have seen Henry Garrity play. He is the son of former Orlando Magic player Pat Garrity. Henry is an excellent basketball player, as well For Birmingham Brother Rice, my HS alma mater. Garrity was a former teammate of Luke Newman. He would be a great "get" for the 'Saders.
Also, Ryan Browne is an outstanding QB from Florida (originally from the Detroit area). His dad is former BC fullback, Jim Browne. Ryan played at Brother Rice as a freshman but decided to transfer to Florida for more opportunities (IMG Academy?). I've seen him on film. He'd also be a great "get".

Last year and this year, 3 of our 22 starters (Dobbs, Newman & Reynolds) are from the Detroit Catholic League Central Division. Hopefully, HCBC and his assistants can keep the pipeline open. Consistent recruiting of the 5 schools in the Central Division should provide us with good yield in talent for our recruiting $.

GE and Xmassader you guys may want to reach out to the staff and let them know of the kids you're talking about. Coach DeMikes is heading up the national recruiting piece as well.

I wonder how many of these 120 guys and counting we will see on opposing teams in future years?

Strictly a guess --
The law of averages suggests that some (probably not many; just a few) of these offerees will commit to schools who will be playing against Holy Cross over the next few years.
As of the last time I checked, only 4 of the 120 offerees have made a commitment -- one each to Wisconsin, Cincinnati, Appalachian State, and Miami (Ohio).
It goes without saying that verbal commitments are always subject to change until a letter of intent is signed.
EDIT -- A 5th offeree has made a commitment -- to Duke.

Thanks, as always, for your hard work, breezy!
My interest on recruited athletes is like concentric circles towards a target as we get closer to the center of the target, the greater the interest.
Outermost circle: offers Middle circle: verbal acceptances Innermost circle: signed NLIs

I find the geographical spread of the offers to be interesting.
Georgia -- 21 Florida -- 11 New Jersey -- 11 Texas -- 10 Pennsylvania -- 9 Connecticut -- 8 Maryland -- 8 Virginia -- 7 Massachusetts -- 5 Illinois -- 5 Indiana -- 5 North Carolina -- 5 California -- 3 Ohio -- 3 New York -- 3 Delaware -- 2 Tennessee -- 1 Michigan -- 1 Colorado -- 1 Louisiana -- 1
My impressions (not based on actual research) -- Many more offers in Georgia than in previous years (possibly because Coach DiMichele, now the recruiting coordinator, recruited Georgia during his time at Lehigh). Offers in Florida, New Jersey, Texas, and Pennsylvania seem to be on par with prior years. Surprised to see relatively few offers in Ohio and Michigan -- but perhaps that is due to timing, and may balance out by the end of the recruiting cycle.
