Paywall Without reading. I believe that there are many reasons why Harvard will not be a Duke 1-COACH

Harvard doesn't offer a bball temple to play in as does Duke. Harvard doesn't offer a schedule against the top name programs as does Duke. Harvard's program isn't surrounded by thousands by crazies fans. Harvard's coach is not the coach of the USA Olympic team. Total pipe dream.

Not if Carter wants a Harvard degree, something Duke cannot provide

Fans of other Ivy schools are criticizing Harvard over Carter, saying he is a 'one and done'. He is taking AP Calculus, so if indeed he is a 'one and done', he might view Harvard as offering a more interesting set of first year courses than Duke. One shouldn't miss that much class time at Harvard given the way the Ivy schedules. That said, most everyone looks at Duke as the front runner.

If he wants to be a one and done, I cannot see him going to Harvard The Ivy lg will do nothing to help his draft status after one year.

If Ben Simmons could have his talent wasted at LSU and still be the number 1 pick the Carter can go to Harvard and be fine if he wants. Long term, I would be wary of thinking that Harvard can't succeed at anything it puts its mind to.

Not if Carter wants a Harvard degree, something Duke cannot provide A diploma from Duke isn't exactly one to sneeze at.
