Nichols is out.

Not worthy of its own thread but I thought it was interesting: Houston Baptist beat McNeese State 149-144 in 4 overtimes. 8 Players fouled out. Darius Lee led HB with 52 points and 18 rebounds. He played 54 minutes and two teammates played 56

I thought St. Joe's where Calhoun was coaching was D2 Nope it was a D-3 school. There are two St. Joe's in New England that play in the GNAC. They lost to Penn State Harrisburg on Friday.

...formerly coached by Nathan Davis.
As far as that 4 OT game goes, that's a 50-48 score per half. None of our games ever come close to that, except a couple of blowouts where CU or someone else had close to 50 and we were more like 25-30.

I was a student there back then and actually attended the big NCAA win in Harrington Auditorium over city rival Clark 67-62. WPI had defeated Albany State in OT in its first round game setting up the Clark meeting. Lost in the next round to Widener. They finishd 20-8 that season.

I think it's both smart and considerate of Kit Hughes to hold off on naming Bartley as HC's new head coach until after WPI's season ends.

The road ended last night, 76-53. Had to play at RM's home court.
Most of these games are completely ignored by the local media. Babson won it all sometime in the 2010s and the Boston Globe had zero, zilch, nada about it.

Reality check. Most FCS football games and lower/mid level b-ball games are ignored by NY media. Fordham, St. Peters et al are ignored. These teams rarely get barely a mention, a sentence or two at best.

Babson won it all sometime in the 2010s and the Boston Globe had zero, zilch, nada about it. Amherst won the 2011, 2017, and 2018 Women's National Championship and qualified this year for the Final Four where they lost. Zero coverage of that also. Babson won the Men's national championship in 2017 and the Globe did write an article on it www.bostonglobe.com/sports/colleges/2017/03/19/babson/ICg9XwfeUaW1rBMwApuHaN/story.html
