I recently installed a new eero router system for our Internet, and it comes along with a free trial of a security program. When I try to visit this message board, it tells me that the website is a security risk that is associated with hacking, and it will not connect because there is a risk of installing dangerous programs that will steal my personal information. I am connecting now with my mobile phone, and I am interested if anybody else has had problems with the website or if our administrator has all of the security up-to-date. This may not be a valid concern, I don’t know, but I thought it was prudent to let everybody know.

No issues over the years. If you click on the lock symbol you will see that the connection to the site is secure

Who makes the security program?
I would not install the security program. A router should not be cancelling websites.

Mozilla (well respected) and my company IT policy that is tighter than a [blank]'s [blank] on a [blank] day has zero issues with the site.

All I know is the Advertising dept. of freeforums.net is quite skilled. For example, if another college is discussed on the board and I Google the school or it's athletic website, I will often receive ads for that college's online offerings while using this site or others for a while afterwards.

No calories in these cookies at least. The ads on this site don't overpower the content like on some. It appears to be a fair trade off for free hosting.

I have noticed that sometimes, not always, when I have a VPN activated that I cannot get onto Crossports.

I called Norton and they adjusted something on my VPN when it was blocking ESPN+. Crossports was blocked occasionally on one device but would go through upon re-trying for some reason.

I'm back! I complained to the eero security website that this webpage was not a security risk, and they have rescinded the blocking!
