Lewis, Hart and Oron in at the end. No Rabs. Is he injured?

I hope to see a lot more fight out of the team on Weds - a disappointing performance with a lot on the line

Nice of Nelson to empty his bench and give some guys minutes.

The loss tonight pretty much guarantees another 20 loss season.
Remember what they always say: "You're never as good as you look when you're winning or as bad as you look when you're losing."

That would have been me quoting Coach Kennedy, sald Lewis gained 20-25 pounds. He may be thin but he was VERY thin when he came to HC.
1-1 shooting, 2 points, and 1 rebound in 4 minutes.

Absent a national championship run, Crusader1970 is absolutely correct.

When the door was open to avoid a first round game, we lay an egg. Really disappointing.
Despite the good feelings over the last few weeks, this is still going to be a 20 loss season where we likely won’t reach double digit wins in Nelson’s third season.
Fail.

AL body build is so thin, that next year when he is in the game we could hear the chant "Feed the Weed". Has a nice ring to it.

Lafayette had an offensive efficiency of 136.7--the Leopards have reached that level just 4 times in the past 10 years

The Weed already had a pg year and he played AAU, he's not a porcelain doll. He's at least strong enough to shoot the ball in spurts when we need an insertion of quick scoring, not just in garbage time.

Even when we shoot 50% Fg , 46% for 6 threes in the second half, we give up 60 % FG in the second half, 54% for 13 threes for the game. Just atrocious defense against a weak team in a very bad league, no matter how you try to spin this, BBC.

Lewis, Hart and Oron in at the end. No Rabs. Is he injured? Hopefully (in terms of being able to contribute, nothing else) injured. If you can't use the guy against the immobile mighty Quinn (who was having his way offensively), who can you use him against? Only thing HC did at all well at the defensive end was rebound.

Time for part 2, 60 years later. Wonder if our resident denizen with the same last name is related to Jack? Denizen is an appropriate description regarding his occupancy on Crossports. HISTORICAL•BRITISH a foreigner allowed certain rights in the adopted country

There are seemingly tons of Foleys in Greater Worcester; and none of them seem to be related to one another. Very popular name.

There will be nights when shots aren't falling (where have we heard that before?), but the D has to bring it every night, especially down the stretch of the season. Really disappointing in that aspect.

Really disappointing in that aspect. Exactly. About halfway during the first half, #21 made a nice fake and hit a 3 for Lafayette and celebrated like he just won Powerball. After that, HC offered little or no resistance instead of it having the opposite effect. That was also right around the same juncture in the game where they hit two threes and we countered with at least 5 open shots (some 3s, some 2s), missing all of them. That was followed by a flurry of turnovers.

Well, that was ugly. Was choosing between the UConn women (makeup game against Marquette for which we have tickets) and the HC game vs Colgate on Wednesday. Pretty easy decision at this point.

If we play perimeter defense against Colgate the way we did last night, Weds has the potential to be a very ugly evening.
Not concerned though. I'm sure our coach will come up with a game plan that will totally stymie Colgate. (wink)
