Massey has HC as a 5 point favorite (64-59) and assigns us a 68% chance for the win.

So, I think if HC wins Saturday, they likely can't finish worse than 3rd, if they win out, finish first, lose both and could slip down as far as 5th. If BosU wins out & we lose out, we end up in fourth.

When Ezemma and BPC cooled off in the last couple of games, Demski, Allen and McCormack stepped up to add offensive production. A good sign heading into the PLT.

Announcer: "Avery Labarbera is breathing flames" as she scores 10 of HC's first 14 points. 14-6 HC.

42-23 HC at the half. AL has 16 points and 5 rebounds.
Team shooting 60% on 15 of 25.
Army just hitting 27.6%.
Neither likely to be the case in the 2nd half.

HC 42-23 at the half. Double Double watch: AL 16-5-4. HC out-muscling Army on defense underneath and covering the Cadets like a glove elsewhere on the court.

50 of 73 points from seniors. "The Future is now" -George Allen
But no need to suppress speculation about next year. The announcer crowned Cara as the main point guard next year, with the skills to seamlessly step into Avery's role. But what is the case for Cross being the main PG?
This year's performance is exceeding expectations which makes it extra special. HC has as much chance as any PL team to get to the NCAA this year, but many other teams are capable, too. Exciting.

Who would be competition for Cross? O'Brien at Bucknell? Durant at BU? Maybe Fisher at American?

Final...HC takes it and a guaranteed share of the PL regular season 73-59. What a great game by the kids! HC has control of their fate. If HC beats BU they are the clear regular season winners if BU & AU win, HC is the 3rd seed if HC & AU lose their last games - HC would be the 2nd seed

Who would be competition for Cross? O'Brien at Bucknell? Durant at BU? Maybe Fisher at American? Fisher has been outstanding defensively for AU this season, but she doesn't have the "numbers" (steals/blocks) that I think most voters will look at. You'd have to watch AU play a lot to see how important she is to the team. She won't be first team all-PL but I will be very disappointed if she isn't second team – third in the league in assists, second in assist/turnover ratio. LaBarbera is a lock for POTY and I'm guessing Magarity is the front-runner for COTY. Humbly, though, I'd offer that Megan Gebbia has done another incredible job this season for AU, and is on the verge of her fifth 20-win season in nine years. If AU beats Lafayette Wednesday and BU beats Cross, AU winds up in second behind BU. If that happens, I'd definitely stump for Gebbia to get her third PL COTY award.
