Congrats to GG on his accolades. Another PL ROY for Holy Cross as well. No first-team honors, keeps that streak largely intact.

Here's what I put together earlier this season. 1st Team All-PL appearances by a Holy Cross Men's Basketball Player, by year:
2021-2022 = 0 2020-2021 = 0 2019-2020 = 0 2018-2019 = 0 2017-2018 = 0 2016-2017 = 0 2015-2016 = 0 2014-2015 = 0 2013-2014 = 1 (Dave Dudz) 2012-2013 = 0 2011-2012 = 0 2010-2011 = 0 2009-2010 = 0 2008-2009 = 1 (Andrew Keister)
Our last PL PoY award was 2006-2007 with my favorite HC player, Keith Simmons, winning the award.
2 first team players in 14 seasons, or 2 players out of a total available 70 potential spots (2.85%). Not great, Jerry!

Can't we at least round that up to 3%? Ugh

Change has never been more important Give Nelson 2 years pay, say thank you, and bring out the check book to get an established winning coach
Remember the dollars are only paper money, our willingness to support across all classes can be real money
Martello, Paulson, or pick
Let’s get through this week and begin a special decade

Just win the play-in game to give him a lifeline for a couple more days.

Weakness doesn’t win
Create a position of strength and victories become possible

A friend of mine, who is a fellow HC Alum, has a son who played at St.Joe’s for a couple of years. Followed the young man throughout his high school career, who was all state. The father never said specifically, and I never asked the young man, but I got the impression he was run off the team. He finished his career at a MAAC school. I would take John Gallagher before Phil.

This one is about the ROY that Nelson recruited to HC (whose HS coach was an HC grad, who HCBN is supposedly not capable of connecting with) and a superlative transfer that HCBN convinced to come to HC after having committed to Albany. And to top it off advocating for Paulson (Carmody 2.0, probably a worse personality than Nelson) or (I think) Phil Martellli (fraud) is outrageous. Those guys would be a disaster I understand people are take-committed to the idea that HCBN isn’t worthy of being the coach at Holy Cross, but I highly recommend taking a step back (like WCHC’s post here examining the horrendous shape the program has been in for over a decade) and having some perspective about where we’ve been and what another change now would do to the program. Congrats to GG & KL!! GO CROSS GO!!!

Wrong thread also, but you have not commented on the 1-5 finish. Recruiting two fine players that results in 7 D1 wins, all in a very weak league, with 21 losses, in his third year is insufficient improvement.
