Well, the Saders managed to quickly find the OFF ramp leading to a sudden EXIT!!! No need to say anymore.... Only 2 posters picked Bucknell, Crosser and HCFC45.... And, as we have said before, on any given night any team can beat any other team.... so, who among us will be prescient enough to pick the upsets, because there are bound to be some!!! Can anyone explain why the Patriot League men....
1) Start their tournament before the women's regular season is over?
and
2) Have their tournament about ten days earlier than almost every other conference in the NCAA?

No, but it was weird reminding myself near the end of the women's game last night, that despite the playoff atmosphere, the game was not "one and done" for either team, the night after the men were eliminated in a one and done playoff game on the same floor. |

Not a clue on #1 I don't think #2 is true . The big boys all finish up on selection weekend, but a lot of the smaller conferences finish up with games early in Championship Week. Combine that with leagues like the PL that are all campus sites and not a single location tournament , and this is when you start ------------------- Just did a quick check. As of today (2 days after the PL play in game), there will be 9 conference tournaments under way |

American went from the penthouse to the outhouse from Tuesday to Thursday. It doesn't generate confidence about HC. I guess our hope is superior off season skill improvement and recruiting compared to the other conference teams to make up some ground.
We can hardly hope to improve by swapping out HC players for better players in the portal because we just swapped our current players in via the portal or recruiting.
More players coming and going would make HC the poster child for the ills of big time basketball.

There is nothing big time about HC and PL basketball unless you consider the entirety of D1 basketball to be big time. |
