Congratulations to the women VB players for their 3-0 sweep Bucknell. They wrap up their regular season today. The year showed a marked improvement and I hope they end on a winning note.

Not sure that one more league win up to today is so marked. Overall wins went from 7 to 9 today's opponent, Lehigh, beat us 3-0 at Lehigh

I am going by more than just the won/loss record. Watching their games, you can see better play. A win today is unlikely, but it would be great to see the team take a winning streak into next season.

Our record in PL play: 2012= 2-12 2013=2-14 2014=6-10 2015=4-12 2016=5-10 to date Have you had a chance to watch any of the games? It is the play of the team that is improving (more than the won/loss record indicates alone).

I have not watched any of the games but, encouraged by earlier reports of improved play, I changed my avatar to the HC volleyball player some time ago

First VB win over Lehigh since 2007. A good sign, at least.

the team made strides this year but it's a long trek upward for this program. we're losing a 1st team star in Sifferlen, and the attached article includes the stark reality of Mandy being the first all league player since 2004, and this year's team equaling the most league wins in history with six. to keep the momentum going, need some good recruiting to replace Mandy and the other sr starter, Emily Popp. www.goholycross.com/ViewArticle.dbml?ATCLID=211298393&DB_OEM_ID=33100

But overall agree with the sentiment that it would be great to attract more players who have the ability to earn the all-star nods from the coaches.

the team made strides this year ...to keep the momentum going, need some good recruiting.... Based on Twitter postings, it appears HC Volleyball has gotten at least three commitments for next year. The recruits are from California, Oregon, and Florida.
