With the No. 21 pick, the Houston Texans selected Will Fuller, a wide receiver out of Notre Dame.
The fastest player at the combine, Fuller ran the 40 in 4.32 seconds

Kalif Raymond has signed with the Denver Broncos. Good luck to him...his blocking should be good on kick returns if that is what they want him to do.

It is hard for me to root for the Broncos, but I will have to make an exception! Glad to see Khalif get the chance!

According to this article, Kalif received a $2,000 bonus for signing with the Broncos. www.profootballrumors.com/sadat-sulleymanOf the 4 WRs who signed as undrafted free agents with the Broncos, Kalif is the only one who reportedly received a signing bonus.

That is good news. It seems to indicate they do want him (as opposed to just "taking a chance"). Can't wait to see him on the field in uniform.

Kalif won Crusader of the Year. He also broke the school record for the 60 Meter dash.

Am I wrong, or wasn't the last HC grad to play for the Denver Broncos Jack Lentz, class of 1967?

Yes. Believe I posted that on a different thread. Played safety for 3-4 years.

I know this thread is about Khalif Raymond but to digress for a moment: Yes, Tom, Jack Lentz was quite a player for HC, especially his senior/our freshman year, as I remember that last minute TD pass to Peter Kimmener (spelling?) in that great win at BC.!

If you are going to include Khalif in the "playing for the Broncos" discussion (I am a BIG Khalif fan), then let's not forget Steve Bucky Buchanan, HC HoFer and Joe Wilson's backfield mate. Bucky was an 11th round pick in 1974 of the Broncs before going on to a successful career on Wall Street. A great guy.

82, we are proud of all our Crusaders but at least this senior citizen was focused on if Kalif makes the team, he would be the first Crusader to actually play for the Broncos since Jack Lentz. He's not there yet but I am sure we are all rooting for him. On a side note, which HC Crusader played football on a team owned by a current presidential candidate? (I hope my memory is right! ) Name the HC player. Name the team. Name the presidential candidate. Eh, forget it, too many Crusaders played for this team and owner. I only thought of one but a bunch of Crusaders did.

Dave was ( ex-Browns starter) Brian Sipe's back-up in NJ & went on to collect a Ring w/ Baltimore in USFL. I do not recall any other Saders w/ the Generals.
