Only other offers for Ford, it seems, coming out of high school were from App St and Robert Morris. Surprising considering he committed to Davidson -- maybe he wasn't a scholarship kid? See page 7 of the Davidson board's thread on transfers, re: Chris Ford ("Did anyone expect Chris Ford to stay? Can we pull off a trade with Holy Cross?"). Doesn't sound like he was a PWO, more of a fit isssue.

I did not see him play in college, but From what I saw of Snoddy in high school, he probably could help us Skilled and athletic

Snoddy had 11 points (4-5 FG, 3-3 FT) and 3 rebounds in 22m vs HC last December.

Holy Cross has also reached out to express interest in Huff, a Brooklyn native who prepped at Perkiomen. 5-10 guard

74 assists to 58 turnovers in 27 minutes per game. Sounds pretty good.

We have a GG, why not an HH. The latter played his first 3 years of hs at Louis Dieruff in Allentown PA before playing his sr and pg years at Perkiomen. He scored a lot of points at both stops and had a 3.6 gpa when he left Dieruff.

Looks like a pretty solid player, good shooter. He shot .379 on threes, .544 on twos (don't know mix of jump shots vs close in), and .875 from the line. KenPom had him at shooting guard most of the time and backing up at point guard a few minutes per game.

Snoddy sounds a bit like Kenney based on his size and the fact he played 900 minutes and was 0-8 on threes. I am going to guess those 8 came when he was stuck with the ball 20+ feet from the hoop as the shotclock was about to expire. BTW, I like Kenney.

I saw Snoddy only once, but his game was similar to Kenney’s. Kenney is a bit leaner and quicker, but Snoddy seems more like a scorer, if not an outside shooter.

Thank you WG for compiling this list. Someone on another board said the month of April has become college basketball’s version of the hot stove league of MLB. I sure hope all of these student-athletes in in the portal know what they are doing and are getting sage advice. Most of them were recruited over the course of a year or longer coming out of hs and now they are reconfiguring things in a month or so while trying to keep things in line academically in college. If they chose poorly, they will find themselves in a situation as a potential two-time transfer where prospective suitors will probably question their desire to work through problems plus they will have to sit out a year if they move again which given the number of kids transferring for the first time and not having to sit out, will greatly decrease landing spots. It is very surprising to me to see the number of kids at HC who were basically half way to earning a degree from a prestigious college, who decided to leave. I don’t think Holy Cross is in the business of pulling a scholarship from a kid so even if their prospects didn’t look good on the court, I hope kids finishing up their sophomore year or even first year students, thought long and hard before taking a pass on a paid-for degree from Holy Cross.

James played 6 total minutes as a freshman and 50 as a sophomore,
Here's Coach Pitino's comments from the Iona website "Trey is one of the premier big men in the state of Kentucky. He is a really good physical presence with a nice midrange jump shot. Trey is going to be an outstanding low post player at a legit 6-10, 235. He is an excellent post big man, who knows how to pass. We're very excited to have him."

The PL stinks. HC ought to be in the OVC. That's what I'll be saying if those guys choose Southern Indiana.

Also meant to say that, with no disrespect intended, the process is beginning to feel a little like shopping the clearance racks at Marshall's, or getting hand me downs from big brother.
