Actually, if he can play it doesn't matter much what his real height is.

Question: Will the coaching staff led by BN build a solid, tight relationship with this young man. Coaching is much more than X's & O's. Asked a friend who played for Coach Lombardi at Green Bay: Was Lombardi really any different, any better. Yes, definitely was the response. Coach inspired us to believe in ourselves, that we could play at a higher level than we thought possible. He saw in us what we did not see in ourselves. And, my friend far exceeded his expectations along with his teammates.. A bit of Lombardi might go a long way. Obviously Coach Chesney builds a closeness with his guys. Builds confidence, teamwork. Inspires them. Playing for Chesney is fun. Have not heard much about the transfer portal with football. And, in fact, it is the opposite. Guys are staying the extra year. And, Coach took over a struggling team which had given up on TG as evidenced by their embarrassing blow out loss to Yale. Chesney turned the program around. It can be done. And, BN?

Chesney is exceptional. I doubt BN is a monster. If money were no object, I'd like to see HC try the Chesney model in BB and select a winning D-2/3 coach for next season (specifically Andy Sachs).
But I respect the money HC spent to win the bid for a home playoff game, to retain Chesney and staff, to continue to invest in state of the art training resources for FB, to support so many super seniors for a ninth semester, etc.
I know HC doesn't have a bottomless pit of money for athletics so I also respect the decision to keep BN for now and think he can improve in his job like everyone else can. I like to root for the underdog, so I'm rooting for him as long as he is here.

Let's give him his own thread.
Welcome, Jaden!
I am guessing he is related to Noah Kirkwood of Harvard who went to the same hs in Ottawa, Ashbury College, before prepping at Northfield Mount Hermon and then on to the Johnnies. Noah has been a very good player at Harvard for the last 3-4 years so hopefully he has taught his brother or cousin a thing or two. Looks like Jaden is finishing a prep year at IMG Academy in Fla. They play a national schedule.

Jaden is Noah's brother.
I'm sure Sam Ferry (who recruits Canada) has known him for awhile. We have another couple Orangewood Prep (Ontario) guys we're pursuing in the portal, that he probably also has a relationship with.

Doesn’t that do the same thing as the Roger Teeter inversion board when you invert?

Nice first step on drives Fine double move to free himself for a jumper off the dribble Probably good prep school competition. Wonder why he had no listed offers ?

A different site says the other person on the list, Poulton, is committed to Colby. (old news, apparently).
No Batchelder on that list. Concerns about that?

How excited should we be about this Kirkwood pickup? Can anyone compare/contrast him to any of the talent we are losing? Seems to be able to hit the corner 3, but somehow players never miss in the hi-lite reel

The thing that impressed me the most was a defensive stop where he stonewalled a defender trying to drive the line.

He seems to have arrived at IMG Academy late, maybe start of the second semester.? The IMG head coach is a former assistant at Bucknell. On the IMG national team, which is great if they receive frequent flyer miles. Brian Nash, the Director of Basketball at IMG, has extensive assistant coaching experience in the Northeast, including Siena, Fairfield, Seton Hall, Duquesne, St. Bonaventure.
His older brother was IL Rookie of the year in 2019-20, first team All Ivy in 2020-21, no games in 2021-22, in 2021-22, unanimous first team All-Ivy, NABC All-District 13 First-Team choice, 3x Ivy player of the week.
Their father played basketball in Canada, for Ottawa University If he is half the player that his brother is, he should be pretty good.
