Just 4 TOs so far - we are not intimidated.

Have to hope that SC does not shoot 8-13 on threes again in the second half.....Hope things "gravitate to the mean"

Some defensive breakdowns in the last 3 minutes of the half, but getting some good looks outside, too. I'm encouraged.

Long 3 pointers killing us. Need for the 6'5 guards to develop or we will not get to this level. We are too small.

Shooting 44% from the field (45% from 3), 9 assists on 11 baskets (excellent)

iF YOUR OPPONENT IS GONNA RAIN THREES ON YOU, there's really not much you can do. In the long run, a team cannot live by the three. Who is the guy in the purple tie sitting next to ADNP behind our bench?

KC took himself out of the game early with a pair of quick fouls. Would like to see Le Sann get some time in the 2nd half.

Hard to beat a team on the road when they are shooting that well! Other than that, they look promising - good effort, ball movement, and shooting ok against a very athletic team. They are still in it!

Playing like this in our first game, you know this is a very well coached team. I'm really impressed with how well prepared we look.

I don't see it that way! SC has shot light out from 3 range, and we have been OK (8 for 13 vs our 5 for 11). Hanging in there...All the stats are pretty even.. stats.statbroadcast.com/broadcast/?id=1473086 blocked shots for SC...and they were very makeable shots that were blocked early!

Playing fairly well on both ends imo....Gamecocks are just at a much different level athletically overall. Encouraged though.

So.....it sounds like the offense is looking more Princeton like than in the Assumption game, but we are getting hurt by their big guards shooting over our smaller guards. Fair assessment? Can we get back in it?

Can we get back in it? Fair assessment. But South Carolina coming out much more aggressively to start 2nd half, especially on d. We are up against it.

"Patience is the key," NP says about the football program. Interesting. I heard the interview too. We don't have time for patience. We're playing BCS schools starting in 9 months.

And we don't have the liquidity for urgency.
